“Just one slope”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

There's nothing to see there. Just one slope. Sliding down the slope is a good experience.
Shame that cameras are not allowed. They have their own photographers and one photo costs 20 SGD.
Not worth is what we felt.

“Memories of Canada”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

Overall OK, keep in mind I was born and raised in Canada, so tubing down a 60 meter slope was the kiddy hill for us! But if you have never experienced cold and snow well worth the trip!!

“a good attraction for those who never experience the snow”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

Came from a tropical island, I decided to visit snowcity just to experiences the cold and the snow. I took MRT from my hotel at Geylang and arrive at the jurong station and take a walk about 10 minutes to science center first for a visit then to snowcity. I was not wearing a proper warm clothing as I read they rental the equipments.

So after i arrived there, paid the tickets and also paid the rentals for jacket, shoes and gloves and locker I had to wait to get it as it was saturday and lot of teenagers. When we got inside, it was impressed with the artificial snow (which is actually ice) and feel like real , but I can't stand the cold its like temperature in arctic or antartica -30 something celcius..it could made one got sick for wide drop of temperature.

I then have my pic took by the photographer (they took lot of photos in the end i only got 2 pics as its expensive to printed all of the pictures). I only try the sliding and not the ski, the sliding was pretty fun, but the cold bothered a lot, i can spent more than 30 minutes inside.overall for me it was average attraction. If you never experiences snow and cold temperature its maybe worth your visit, but if you come from a place with 4 season, I am not recomend you, science center is more fascinating to visit if you happen to be in this area.

tips: bring ur own jacket and hat,and wearing thick socks, also bring t-shirt to change incase you got wet. if you come from a tropical place, and never experiencing cold, their clothings is not warm enough at least for me. Camera cant be use inside.

“average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

for those who never experience the cold of snow, it may worth a visit but I don't reckon this attraction if you come from a place where has snow! the "snow" in this place is not really snow, it's ice really!

“Has seen better days”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

They have the right equipment for you to rent - the proper shoes, clothes, gloves, etc.
The snow is mainly ice. I don't know how people can ski in that - perhaps they pump in 'fresh ice shavings/snow" when there are people who ski? The slide was quite fun but that's about it. It is slippery and a little dangerous because it's ice, one must be careful or you might cut yourself should you fall. It's a been there, done that and I won't go back kinda place.
If you come from a temperate climate, forget about visiting this place. You will be sorely disappointed. If you have never experienced winter, well, why not? but it does look like it needs a facelift.
