I walked past Skinny Pizza in the Raffles City Shopping Centre on my first night in Singapore, I was intending to find some hawker food but this intrigues me so much, I ate here.
The pizza base is thin cracker/pappadum like, and it actually stays crispy it doesn't go soggy. I opted for the mushroom and truffles oil topping as I'm a big fan of both and haven't had truffle oil in the four months I've been travelling in Asia. The truffle oil they used wasn't, obviously, amazing quality but it was bad. The mushrooms were really good and well cooked.
I think this restaurant is brilliant, especially when so many people are health conscious but don't necessarily want to give up the foods they love. I would really like to see this place in London.
The staff were so nice, very helpful and friendly and although it was busy, the staff seemed to keep everything under control.
If you like pizza with big doughy bases, this probably isn't for you but I'd say give it a go anyway.
I'll be going back at least once before I leave Singapore.
