“Recommended for drinks, not dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

This restaurant offers a great city view in a relaxing Bistro environment. I thought we would pay a premium for the view but the prices were more reasonable than expected. I would definitely return for drinks, but the menu is pretty limited if you're planning to go for dinner. We decided to share a pizza, satays and the wings. All were good, but they made a "special exception" for us because that satays and wings are only supposed to be available until 6 p.m.

“Great place to watch your sunset!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

The Bistro has fantastic, panoramic views over Singapore and makes an excellent destination to spend a sunset over a bottle of wine. The service is quite friendly and food is OK, noting to write about though. We had a greek salad which was OK/average, spring rolls which arrived in a strange netted covering and was very oil - recommend avoiding it and a chocolate dessert which too was OK. Net, go there for having some drinks and watching the sunset and head over to one of the restaurants at the jewel box for dinner.

“Tasty end to a pleasant walk”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Have a stroll round the top of the hill, making your way thru hordes/coach-loads of Chinese tourists, marvel at the beautiful Reflections at Keppel Bay architecture ...... Then have supper at this small, open-air bistro. Thankfully it was not raining that night, there did not seem to be many tables undercover, but I may be wrong. Make us you have a reservation at the weekend. The staff are very pleasant if a little clueless - we ordered the Wine of the Month but the wrong wine was brought and it took a little time and consultation with other waiters to bring the correct one! There is a kids menu. The food was generally fine though my lamb shank was a little spicy. Not much veg. Very nice evening though .... The view compensates for a lot though the bistro does overlook tall buildings rather than the sea ....

“Probably my favorite place to relax when I was in Singapore”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

Good views, brews and table to read and soak up the city views and forest. By far the best combination of city and nature ambiance. Recommend doing the 3-4 mile city part walk (starting in Kent Ridge Park) and conclude the walk at this place

“Great view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2012

Food isn't exactly fantastic and it is quite expensive.

Mushroom soup was great though.

View makes up for it!
