“Nice place for sunset”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2014

One of the nearest beaches to Singapore. All the sand and palm trees have been imported from elsewhere but this is still a pleasant place to swim and view ships plying the Straits. There is beach volleyball and some really nice bars from where to watch the sunset. Just look for the giant letters spelling Siloso and youre in the right place.

“Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

There were a lot of activities but the beach itself was nothing to speak of. I didn't see anyone in the water and when I looked at the water I could tell why. I think this is more of an amusement area than a beach.

“Great Water Park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2014

Yes we did enjoy the beach but we enjoyed the small water park for kids more. It's a good chance to take a breather (for parents travelling with children) and lie down under a tree or get a tan while the little ones enjoy a mini water park with small slides , fountains, etc. Lifeguards are on stand by at all times and the water is up to kneelength for your 3 year olds. This place is definitely for kids under 10 years old.

“If you stay on the sand it's a nice enough beach.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2014

This beach looks quite nice, white-ish sand, restaurants and bars lining the beach, palm trees dotted around the place. However swimming at the beach was not that pleasant. The water was so warm it felt clammy and there was quite a bit of seaweed floating in the water. Coming from Australia where we are spoilt by white sand, clean and cool beaches, Siloso beach really can't compete. After swimming we just felt sweaty and less refreshed (after a hot, humid day). Also the only toilets I could find to get changed into bathers were a bit of a walk away. Would have been better to just buy a cool drink and sit under a fan at one of the bars!

“Lots of choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2014

Good beach with lots going on from Ibiza style bars and clubs to restaurants and activities. The water is a little dodgy since it is so close to the shipping lane of the Port of Singapore but you don't have to swim in it!
