“accessibility and hospitaliy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

During our trip to Boracay over the Labor Day weekend we were astonished with the great hospitality of their very courteous staff. The place was very accessible to station 1 and 2 where most of the amenities were walking distance. The Hotel made it a point to keep our room nice and clean every time we had our room serviced. in terms of noise there wasn't much, considering they had bars close to the area. The only problem we had was the transfers from the hotel to the port, since on of our mate had a 4am flight to Kalibo. Meaning he had to leave the hotel at 12:00am. sadly there was no driver during that time so our friend had to commute going the port so he wouldn't miss his flight, considering the number of people on Labor day the public means of transportation was scarce so it took him around 30 min. to get transportation going to the jetti port. Overall the stay was very memorable.

Thank you Jony's!

Jony's surpassed all of my expectations. Not plush, but I was not expecting a five star hotel. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Nice big TV. Good internet access. Front desk staff were wonderful. On one occasion when we were returning from a beach swim, a staff member came out and greeted us with our room key (which we had left with them). Staff was very helpful with making reservations for island activities like sailing and ATV ride.

Location was ideal, close to Boat Station 1 but away from the nighttime frenzy and noise farther south down the beach.

Boracay Island is divisible into three areas, Station 1, Station 2 and Station 3. Station 3 is too crowded, Station 2 is too noisy and Station 1 is the place to stay for a nice relaxed vacation. However, Station 1 resorts are understandably expensive. Jonys is right between Station 1 and Station 2, and yet surprisingly affordable. More importantly, its rooms are great, spacious, functional, clean and well-equipped. Its staff its unbelievably courteous, out to please and just extremely efficient. Its restaurant, Mayas serves good food at good value. If you want a great place to stay in Boracay, this has got to be it.

This is a very late review since we stayed in jony's last december 26, 2013 until january 2, 2014. Jony' s is located just in the beginning of station one, but not far from station 2. There's a resort between jony's and station 2, and i think it's a private resort since there were not a lot of people in that area. The local and mexican food in the restaurant were very delicious, but their thai food was very greasy :( shakes and other drinks were really good! We so loved the food in their restaurant that we haven't tried other restaurants in boracay in our 7 days stay! The people in the restaurant are very helpful. From preparing sunbeds, towels, and for looking after our things. Their service is personalized! their front-desk staff are very soft spoken and very helpful. one time i coudn't connect to their wifi. they sent me a pocket wifi which i really enjoyed when we were lying on the beach since their wifi is limited just inside the restaurant.

Downside:
I'm not very sure about the room number but i think it was 308. There's no outside seating area and it was the last room in the building i think. Ask for a room with seating area when booking. But i was not a big problem since we were on the beach the whole day.
-you can hear everything inside the room from the door slamming, people taking, foot steps, and cat meowing.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with outside seating area when booking

We stayed at Jony's for a week a little over a month ago and it is my second time staying there. The location is great, just across the road from the beach, have a restaurant attached with an excellent (inclusive) breakfast.

The reason I came back (and will again) is the staff, they are friendly, accommodating and made our vacation that much more enjoyable. Helping us with printing air tickets, arrangement for day activities and shuttles are just a few of the things they did.

Room Tip: 2nd/3rd floor sea facing rooms are very nicely decorated and have excellent views, although there is...

We stayed for 5 nights April 7th thru the 12th and had an absolutley amazing time! I highly suggest taking advantage of Jony's Airport (Kalibo) to Hotel service, it was effortless on our part and we had no worries about getting to the hotel from the Airport and same with the return to the Airport from Jony's.

The hotel is situated perfectly on the Island. Its the last hotel before a large peice of private property which seperates station 1 and station 2. Station 2 is where all the late night, loud music and party happens. So the nights at Jony's were relativley quiet and its a short walk to station 2.

The hotel itself is very clean and the staff was excellent, even let me use their computer when I had trouble with mine!

The hotel restaraunt, Maya, is perfectly siutuated on the Beach. It is the best way to start your day with breakfast and the ocean 5 meters from your table!! Beautiful view and so relaxing. The food was amazing and we ate almost every meal there.

We will definatley stay here on our next visit.... Probably sometime in July/August.

Thank you Jony's!!!!

We stayed ocer for 4 nights to enjoy Boracay. The island has become pretty touristy and so have the prices, but we enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is close to the beach and very clean. The staff are very nice and efficient.

The only downturn would possibly be the noise during the night. We had some pretty loud guests staying in the other rooms and as Boracay is an island to have fun at, some people returned home in the early morning and kept us awake.

Room Tip: Rooms are all good, there are no rooms with sea view though. But you can certainly ask for a room...
