The service was very good. From the time that we arrived in Caticlan airport to the time that we left for Manila, there was always Kuya Jojo to assist us. He was the best. Ate Nancy was also accommodating everytime we have an inquiry.

The breakfast was good because of the choices they have for their guests. It's not the usual breakfast that was the same for our entire day. We were allowed to choose what we like for the day.

The location is not exactly beach front, but it's a short walk from the corner of Red Coconut. It's right in the middle of station 2. The rooms are big and some had balconies even. However, not all rooms were renovated. The renovated ones are great but the older ones are above average nonetheless.

Seabird is an excellent hotel at Boracay station 2. The rooms are basic and clean. The location at Station 2 is great. The hotel is located not on the busy boulevard but just 50 meters behind. The staff is friendly and very service minded. For the price of the rooms you get a nice big room and shower with good beds and a big flatscreen TV.

Seabird is in an alley next to the Red Coconut. The price was alright for the accomodations. It is not beachfront, but it is literally a 15 second walk down the alley to the beach. This alley was clean, never had any doubts about security down this alley. However, the opening of this alley to the beach is a hangout for 3-4 scuba/sailboat hawkers. I don't think the hotel can do anything about it, but it is something you should be aware of, as they hassled me almost everyday when I came and went to the hotel.

Rooms: During my 6 night stay I was moved once. The room I was put into initially (B2) was decent. There were 4 single beds, pushed together to make 2 larger beds. This was not comfortable to me - personal preference. Air conditioning was good, the balcony was just alright as the view faced another balcony and some trees.
The bathroom had a screen instead of glass window. The screen was old, dirty, and there were several gaps in the corner. Little red ants came in through these holes in the screen. We were disappointed at this, but it got worse when we saw little red ants had crawled under the bathroom door and into the bedroom. They got into my luggage and clothing.
The hot water in this room also took a while to start flowing. Not a problem for us most of the time, but it was annoying sometimes.

The second room we were moved to had no ant problem. The shower had a water heater right by the shower head. The beds were Filipino Queen size I believe, so I was more comfortable. The A/C stopped working after 10 minutes, I told the front desk about it, and 10 minutes later we had 2 guys checking it out, replacing it, and cleaning up the floor. Very good friendly service. This was a highlight. TV was working and no problems with that.

The complimentary breakfast was alright. Instead of sausages they had hot dogs, I asked for eggs over easy and received eggs over hard each time. I didn't complain about it, it was not a big deal to me, just thought you should know how breakfast was.

This hotel had 2 outdoor showers to wash off the sand and sea salt before you got to your room. I thought that was a nice touch, as we often tracked wet sand into the room.

Wifi was free here, and we never had any problems with it. That was a big plus for me as I like to stay connected.
