“Perfect Location In Boracay Station 2”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

If you want to be at the center of everything that's happening in Boracay Island... then you stay at Boat Station 2 and among the resorts in this area, Red Coconut Beach Resort would be one of the best options you'll have.

What we loved most about the resort is it's location. It is at the very heart of Boracay. You get restaurants, convenience stores, shops, and bars around it. It has the best location plus it's a beach front resort. They also have their own beach beds & beach umbrellas which is free for use for hotel guests (of course).

The room we got has a nice view of the beach. It was fronting the pool and had a veranda. It was perfect since we didn't want to smoke in our room or go down just to have a quick smoke. The room was very nice and the bathroom was perfect. The best was very nice too. It was perfect actually.

The resort restaurant was amazing too so is the resort bar. Room service was very good too though they are only available until 10pm. The complimentary breakfast was good enough but it's best if you try out other places around the area too.

We did have a bad experience with the resort though.

The resort made us wait for 2 hours before we got to check-in. The reason was that we got there early. Check-in time was 1pm and we were there around 11am. We did let them know ahead of time that we'll get there before 12 noon, hoping that we'd avoid the wait but no, we still had to wait. It turned out that our room was not yet ready. What pissed us more was the fact that we didn't feel any sense of urgency from the resort staffs in preparing our room.

So I guess, if you want to stay in this resort, make sure to plan your arrival time very well.

Overall, it was a good stay. It could have been perfect but things happen. Some resorts just can't perfect customer service.

Stayed here in july last year, great location in the middle of boat station 2 surrounded by resto's and bars and D'Mall is a minute walk away. The hotel is beachfront with sunbaking chairs and a popular bar, called coco's bar. Good food from the beach resto, rooms are nice and clean, recomend to stay here.

I stayed 3 days in a suite beachfront. I love the furnitures, the see though glass, the bathroom specially. Breakfast buffet was awesome. My van and boat transfers were well organized. Polite staffs. It's just beside D'mall and many restaurants. Everything was perfect.

The only downside of it (but not much significant) were the strict regulation of no visitors and the loud noise from outside (since you are in the heart of all happenings in boracay.) Over all, I give it a high recommendation.

Thank you so much for a perfect score Ms. Jullyn21! It was truly a pleasure hosting you and your party for your holiday and we look forward to your next visit. Your advice has been taken very seriously and we have since revised our visiting hours to a more mainstream standard. We trust this didn't cause you too much inconvenience. Thank you for this valuable critique. We would also like to apologize for the elevated volumes heard outside. It seems you came during Halloween week. As you no doubt saw, the residents and visitors on Boracay take this holiday quite seriously, hence all the celebrations that were overheard. Next time we will assign you a room a little more secluded from the main pathway if that is your pleasure. We do hope that you return to us once day soon and until then may you and your loved ones enjoy much success and prosperity!

I would like to say this was one of the most enjoyable places I have ever stayed. The white beaches and clear water was one of the best ways to spend the day. The food at the hotel restaurant was affordable and etremly well prepared. I cannot express my graditude to the staff and Management for a job more then well done...

To Mike and his Team ...Salamat !!!!

I have been to Boracay many times, and have always read reviews on this website and wondered if foreigners realise they are staying in a developing country, or perhaps you may even say a 3rd world country.
In the Philippines, locals love foreigners, not because they have money, simply because they are different. Imagine an alien landed in your backyard, you'd love to show them around our planet!
Red Coconut is lucky to be situated in THE MOST PERFECT position on all of white beach.
When you consider the fact that white beach is possibly the best beach in the world, you may argue that Red Coconut is the best hotel in the world!
Upon arrival, the most beautiful girl in the world smiles at you, and asks if you have a reservation! She then politely takes your details, and without you even noticing, a well spoken but quiet strong Filipino guy walks up to the counter and says hello and waits to take your bags to your room.
If your lucky, you get a room by the pool, which somehow I did. I settled in, unpacked my toiletries, took one step out the door, and dove into the perfectly chemically controlled clean pool. This was in low season, and the pool was still in perfect condition.
Day 1 finished with the usual bar hopping and buffet on the beach!
Wake up on day 2, hungover as ever, jump in the pool and feel absolutely rejuvenated. stagger over to the restaurant on teh beach path, where the plants and roof provide a quiet, anti vendor atmosphere! PERFECTION.

Breakfast, again, the most beautiful girl in the world walks up with a smile, "GOOD MORNING SIR BREAKFAST MENU SIR?"
Everyday in the Philippines, you meet or see the most beautiful girl in the world! If you stay here, chances are you will meet a good portion of them!

Good water pressure, steady water temperature (separate heater for each room), most comfortable bed, good lighting, excellent facilities!

Only problem I had, was that I am not enough of a party animal to keep up with those partying in the Bar outside my door., SO if you are an early sleeper, bring some ear plugs. They will turn the music off by 11 pm, that is a tourism law in Boracay, but you can not make tourists be quiet!!
All in all my only negative, is that now I have stayed here, I no longer need to try any more hotels! None of them will compare.
6 out of 5 stars from me!

Room Tip: Bring earplugs for sleep.

If your looking for a great place to stay with great accomadations, this is it ! the view from the room was fantastic. There is nothing like waking up and seeing the white beach and water that is so clear, first thing in the morning. The hotel staff is very friendly and makes sure your stay is most relaxing. Staff is key to any business...The General Manger,Mike Schnitzius, is well involved and genuinely concerns for the guests and makes sure your stay is what you expect. He pays attention to detail to the level of quality that you receive with your stay. It reflects in the staff, cleanliness and quality of the Hotel.
The restaurant has a wide variety of food and is worth commenting on the quality of the food as well as value. Restaurant staff as well as the the Chef, make sure your food is to your liking. Portions are of good size and lack nothing for taste.

A must stay... Best beach ever

Room Tip: upper floors have better views
