“Red Coconut Boracay Station 2”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

I would like to say this was one of the most enjoyable places I have ever stayed. The white beaches and clear water was one of the best ways to spend the day. The food at the hotel restaurant was affordable and etremly well prepared. I cannot express my graditude to the staff and Management for a job more then well done...

To Mike and his Team ...Salamat !!!!

I have been to Boracay many times, and have always read reviews on this website and wondered if foreigners realise they are staying in a developing country, or perhaps you may even say a 3rd world country.
In the Philippines, locals love foreigners, not because they have money, simply because they are different. Imagine an alien landed in your backyard, you'd love to show them around our planet!
Red Coconut is lucky to be situated in THE MOST PERFECT position on all of white beach.
When you consider the fact that white beach is possibly the best beach in the world, you may argue that Red Coconut is the best hotel in the world!
Upon arrival, the most beautiful girl in the world smiles at you, and asks if you have a reservation! She then politely takes your details, and without you even noticing, a well spoken but quiet strong Filipino guy walks up to the counter and says hello and waits to take your bags to your room.
If your lucky, you get a room by the pool, which somehow I did. I settled in, unpacked my toiletries, took one step out the door, and dove into the perfectly chemically controlled clean pool. This was in low season, and the pool was still in perfect condition.
Day 1 finished with the usual bar hopping and buffet on the beach!
Wake up on day 2, hungover as ever, jump in the pool and feel absolutely rejuvenated. stagger over to the restaurant on teh beach path, where the plants and roof provide a quiet, anti vendor atmosphere! PERFECTION.

Breakfast, again, the most beautiful girl in the world walks up with a smile, "GOOD MORNING SIR BREAKFAST MENU SIR?"
Everyday in the Philippines, you meet or see the most beautiful girl in the world! If you stay here, chances are you will meet a good portion of them!

Good water pressure, steady water temperature (separate heater for each room), most comfortable bed, good lighting, excellent facilities!

Only problem I had, was that I am not enough of a party animal to keep up with those partying in the Bar outside my door., SO if you are an early sleeper, bring some ear plugs. They will turn the music off by 11 pm, that is a tourism law in Boracay, but you can not make tourists be quiet!!
All in all my only negative, is that now I have stayed here, I no longer need to try any more hotels! None of them will compare.
6 out of 5 stars from me!

Room Tip: Bring earplugs for sleep.

If your looking for a great place to stay with great accomadations, this is it ! the view from the room was fantastic. There is nothing like waking up and seeing the white beach and water that is so clear, first thing in the morning. The hotel staff is very friendly and makes sure your stay is most relaxing. Staff is key to any business...The General Manger,Mike Schnitzius, is well involved and genuinely concerns for the guests and makes sure your stay is what you expect. He pays attention to detail to the level of quality that you receive with your stay. It reflects in the staff, cleanliness and quality of the Hotel.
The restaurant has a wide variety of food and is worth commenting on the quality of the food as well as value. Restaurant staff as well as the the Chef, make sure your food is to your liking. Portions are of good size and lack nothing for taste.

A must stay... Best beach ever

Room Tip: upper floors have better views

We chose the Red Coconut Hotel for the rest of our stay in Boracay as we visited it shortly before booking to check the area. The area is awesome and incredible as you are directly at the HotSpot on Whitebeach. The beach is directly in front of the hotel (passing the walk) and one of the best beaches in the world. The hotel has a restaurant directly located in front. the restaurant is good and offers local and continental food for moderate prices. For people who like it very calm the bar could may be a bit loud in the evening. I did not mind it. The interior was bit like colonial style, not modern. The rooms were clean and big. One minus point is that we had to pay for the Wifi with a paycard. You buy like 15 hours, thud it is important not to forget to log out from your session when you leave , otherwise your balance will be run out easily. As said before: in times like this I think WIFI should always be free as an commodity.
We paid 106 Euros in low season with agoda ( not incluing service charge).
All inaAll as the area is awesome I would recommend the Red Coconut Hotel for a fruitful stay next to the hotspots in Boracay.

Red Coconut Boracay has both its good and not so good points. Lets start with the good points...Red coconut is located in the middle of everything. Its right in front of the beach, Walking distance to lots of good restaurants and supermarket. The room is spacious but a bit old. They have a fantastic bar that comes to life every night and that's because of there very lively bartenders! I love Tuesday night's as its ladies' night! 50% off on drinks for the ladies!
Boracay has a beautiful shoreline and clean clear sea, but it doesn't mean that hotels should not have good pools because of it! Red coconut is disappointing on this aspect. They have a very small pool that would seem like a kids' pool! Another not so good points of the hotel is their breakfast. They serve pretty simple choices considering of the price we paid for our room. And speaking of rooms, don't get a room on the 4th floor(the highest floor), as this hotel doesnt have a lift! So going up when you're drunk would be really hard! Lol
But all in all, we had a good time in Boracay and would definitely visit again but maybe try a different hotel next time.

Stayed at Red Coconut for 4 nights. I was hesitant to stay at station 2 but the location worked out for our group. The staff is really nice and it was great that they let us check in early at no extra charge (we flew overnight) so we were able to get into our room for a nap. Buffet breakfast was included which was nice.
There was a slight miscommunication in booking as we used myboracayguide.com and stated 3 people but only quoted for 2 so there was an extra charge. The only downfall was construction work and one night had a power outage.
