“Algae in ocean”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

When we went to White Beach we didnt actually swim in the ocean as there was thick green algae. When the tide went out it left some algae on the beach. If there was no algae it would have been a lot better. I was suprised with the temperature of the ocean. It was not as warm as Thailand or Malaysia

“Compare it to koh Samui beach, white beach dosent have a chance.!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Nice clean beach, water clear with some green moss, seaweed in it,they say the weed comes at this time of the year. Not wide enough compare to Samui beach in Thailand.Too busy for my liking as its not private enough but still pretty though.Had to come to borocay to visit, but not sure if I would come again, maybe go to Cebu and Palawan.Everything is sooo much more expense here than Thailand, food is too dear, massage,DVD,just about all things.
Ciao

“Wow!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

The most amazing beach, it was crystal clean and the waters were absolutely beautiful to swim in. Go for a stroll down towards station 1 just before the sun is setting.

“Very crowded, but beautiful beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

White sand powdery beach, with restaurants and bars. The usual south- east Asia thing, but the most crowded I've ever seen.

The water is incredibly blue and clear.

Not off the beaten track, but a gem of nature.

“Busy but nice with wonderful sunsets”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

Its popular with families and therefore plenty of children running around but with such a large beach only meters away from the hotel it never caused us a problem.
