“amazing resort...best on island...and cheap!”

why would you ever stay on white beach?! over crowded, full of westerners perving on the local, young girls etc...good for night life but would never want to stay there. thank god we found baling hai...the most tranquil place i've ever stayed....it only took 15 mins by motorbike to white beach, we had the place to ourselves, private beach, candelit dinners on our own on the beach every night, the service is brilliant (they'll organise everything), the food was amazingly cheap...and it was quite simply stunning. no mod cons such as ac but who needs it in a place like this. the huts are spread out all over the side of a small cliff over looking the ocean...built with natural materials...you feel a part of it. the best view i've ever had (see photos). the huts are so boutique / cool, they have living areas, with a fridge, cool bathrooms over looking the bay...simply stunning! the staff are so nice and speak good english, they make a real effort ...flowers at dinner etc...little fires...and the food gets bvrought down the cliff to the beach by a pulley system / bucket! my only advice would be stay here (unless steps are an issue). cannot overstate how amazing this place is...blown away and for 30£ a night! white beach...pah! please...stay here! simply astounded anyone would stay anywhere else...we had two floors, massive space, the view...and it was cheaper than anywhere else...do the maths! i'm over excited thinking about it! rambling on...must go...get in touch if you;d like to know more...

“Nice little beach”

This is a tiny, tiny little beach. I can imagine it would be romantic, but, when I was there, there were too many people to really consider it romantic. Not that it was crowded, mind you; it was just crowded for Balinghai, which means there were probably about 15-20 people on the beach. Yup, that's how tiny it is.

The food there was excellent. We had to wait about 45 minutes for my grilled fish, but then we ordered a sandwich and it took about ten minutes. I'm not sure why one took so long and the other came down quickly. I recommend the tuna and cheese sandwich; it's amazing. It's an open-faced sandwich that you cannot possibly stuff into your mouth like a regular sandwich filled with tuna, hard boiled eggs, cheese, and other goodies. The grilled fish was a little dry and just average.

Swimming at Balinghai is a lot of fun b/c of the rafts floating around in the water. It's nice to swim out to a raft and then relax and enjoy the sun for a bit.

One last note: Balinghai is not for the handicapped. There are a lot of stairs going down to the beach and I didn't notice any handicapped entrances. If you are at all handicapped or have trouble on stairs, you might want to avoid Balinghai.

The best resort in boracay. My husband and I spend three nights at the 'rock house". That's the best accommodation they have especially for the honeymooners. They have the best location for a perfect sunset from the terrace. it's only a fan room but you don't need an aircon anyway. at night you can feel the cool breeze. all day long you can hear the sound of the waves and at night time it's like music to the ears. so lovely and romantic place! they have their own private beach away from the hustle and bustle of white beach.

“Lovely little resort”

The Balinghai Beach Resort is a fabulous little find, away from the hustle and bustle of White Beach. It's a perfect place to stay for couples who are looking for a QUIET, relaxing, romantic beach vacation. And everyone who works there is lovely. Very kind and sweet and helpful. The beach is small but beautiful, a great spot for swimming and lounging around with a bottle of San Miguel!
