Sea Wind has a very wide beachfront. Located strategically where the quiet resorts are but is still in a fair distance to the center of Boracay. Staff are lovely, free breakfast buffet serves the same food everyday but it had a wide selection of food so this posed no problem for us. Nice pool in the middle of the whole place. Bar by the beach is a nice place to hang out if you want to cool down from the sun. The rooms were nice showcasing a lot of hardwood. You can see that all furniture were specially crafted to look old Spanish. The bed in our room was a four poster which i found interesting. Lots of space in the bedroom, clean bathrooms. The back area where more rooms are located has a nice natural feel to it. I always stay in Sea Wind whenever I visit Boracay.

Located in Station 1. The resort is tucked in a good location. Not too crowded - away from the hustle and bustle of boracay (which i prefer!) Family friendly hotel - this is the best place to stay if you're travelling with kids or hosting a team building. 15minutes walk from D'mall (about 5-7 minutes if you're going to ride a tricycle). The hotel have 3 pools and little tykes mini playground w/c the kids will enjoy.

Stayed at room 502. Our room is on the other side of the road not on the beachfront. The pathway going to the rooms is filled with trees and flowers :) (a plus for me since i like nature inspired hotels) The room is spacious enough for 4 persons, they have 2 Queen Size bed. 2 Cabinets and a lot of cloth hanger and a vault for the guests valuables. Interior is great. They don't have big flat screen - but that's ok. Who needs flat screen if you're in bora anyway?! Complimentary water and coffee. They have plenty of electric outlets w/c i think is great so that you can charge whatever gadgets you have at the same time. They have seperate shower room and toilet. HotnCold shower is working. No bidet - the bidet is replaced by a native looking dipper made of coconut shell w/c i don't like since the coconut shell is not big enough to hold lots of water. I like the idea of having lots of towel at the T&B (so you don't need to bring any). The floor stays clean and dry because they have floor towels (another plus for me!) It's great to have coffee at the room's balcony - you'll get a good view of the cascading pool and of course your lovely neighbors. :) Overall, i would rate 4 out of 5 for their rooms.

Complimentary buffet breakfast is included - a stub is given prior at the reception area. The buffet breakfast offers a choice of Filipino breakfast (3 version of rice is served - fried/plain/red ) and Continental breakfast. They offer 2 types of juice, coffee and 4 types of Tea. They have omelet bar, 3 types of cereals,pancakes,fruits,3 types of bread, jams and butter. Overall rate for the buffet breakfast is 4 out of 5 (-1 for the beef tapa being so stiff) They also serve buffet lunch and dinner for about Php490/pax and the setting for the lunch and breakfast is near the beach. They also host private parties - and they do well on that part based on my observation last saturday.

As for the customer service - they are great. Check out time is 11AM but they let us check out at around 1PM. We were greeted with warm smiles when we arrived. Welcome drinks and towels were given as well. Everytime you phoned them they would answer right away. They handle our needs quite well. :)
Sea Wind offers transfers to Kalibo and Caticlan, And you can also rent their vans to tour you around Boracay for Php1000/2 hours. They also have their own port and boat. :)

I would recomment this resort if you're travelling with kids or if you prefer your Boracay trip to be relaxing and enjoyable.

Sea Wind does not only provide the best and the widest beach front venue for weddings in the whole of Boracay island, they also prepare the most elegant wedding ceremony set up and reception set up ever!! :)

We just had our wedding here in January 29 2013, and it was the best experience ever! They provide everything you could ever possibly imagine from local contacts, to every type of wedding ad on you can think of. They even provided us with the steam iron and the mannequin for my gown at very minimal cost!! I am beyond satisfied with the service they provided us for our wedding. Hands down, the best value for your money!!! Seriously!!


PS -- Nelly, the events coordinator at the resort is such a helpful, sweet soul. She deserves a raise, I swear! :)

Located in boat station 1, the resort has a very homey ambiance, well secured, wide open area, rooms are clean and quite big, and has a quiet and relaxing beachfront. They also have a swimming pool and mini playground for kids. Probably the best value hotel in boracay considering the location and service they provide. If you wanna stay away from the crowded boracay beach and/or travelling with your kids then this is the best place to stay, its like an entirely different place when your inside the resort compound. Buffet breakfast is good and staff are helpful. Since we just walked-in while travelling during the start of the peak season, we got the room located at the 3rd floor of the bldg by the road side (cant hear noise once door is close) so going up and down is tiring but its OK since I needed some exercise. Few cons wont change the value of this resort.
