Stayed here over Chinese New Year, in one of the older rooms on the beach side of the road.
The location is great if you're after a quieter getaway. It's at the northern end of Station 1, and has a long frontage directly on the white beach, including a lot of beach chairs (where you can get a massage that's only slightly more expensive than other beachfront massage places). Since we were there at peak season it was nice being away from the crowds, although it was a 15-20 minute walk to get back from dining and drinking around Station 2.
The hotel itself was a bit of a let-down, though. The rooms are definitely showing their age in the part we stayed in. The mattress was harder than I would have wanted. The bathroom could use a remodel.
We were happy here for our stay, but wouldn't be motivated to stay again. Our preferred hotel was fully booked this trip so Sea Wind was a solid alternative but we'd look elsewhere next time we go.
