“Good one!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

LOCATION
- The property is in station 1
- It's not crowded, so this was a plus
- Went here September, though, and Boracay as a whole, was not crowded at all
- The hotel property is split in 2
- One part is beach front, where Ocean View rooms are
- The other part is at the back, on the other side of the road
- Where there's almost 0 view of the ocean
- Can't complain, as they say, you get what you pay for =D
- The road is just a few meters wide, by the way
- So, crossing it isn't really a problem
- Plus, their security guard was always alert and ready to help stop the traffic =D

ROOM
- We were 3
- The size was okay, just enough
- It wasn't too small but it was not really spacious either
- The door to the bathroom was really noisy though
- It's a pretty heavy wooden door that doesn't slide that well
- I liked the bed, linens, pillows, etc
- It had cable tv, a/c, hot and cold shower, safety deposit box
- And oh, we had a veranda =D

STAFF
- Always attentive
- Requests were dealt with ASAP

EXTRA
- Has strong wifi in the reception area
- It was not supposed to reach our room, but it did!
- A plus for me was the pool
- It was small but it did its job
- Was able to do a few short laps, so all is well

FOOD
- Oh men, this is probably one of the main reasons why I can't say that this is great place
- The food is edible, don't get me wrong
- It's just that it's either too salty, too sweet, or doesn't really taste much at all
- I'm a bit of a weirdo when it comes to rating the taste of food
- But my friends also said the same thing (and we really don't share the same taste buds, at all), so I know that it wasn't just me
- The serving is hefty, though, so I have zero complaints about that

OVERALL
- It was a pleasant stay
- For the price we paid, I can't really complain
- If I will be presented with the same offer, I will definitely grab it and stay here again

Room Tip: - Rooms facing the garden or pool should have wifi reception - We stayed at the far end of the gard...

We stayed here as a group of 5 for New Years in Boracay and loved it, we were very sad to leave. We stayed in the beachfront rooms upstairs and can't really fault the rooms with the exception of the bathrooms which needed a little TLC.

The great part of this resort is that the beach is somewhat extended into the resort which means it's possible to hang out on the beach and not be constantly accosted by the beach merchants. We spent most of each day lounging in the sun sipping cocktails in perfect bliss.

This resort is well up the other end of the beach away from the chaotic end where the beach is basically a mall.

The only downside we encountered was the service was rather slow and sometimes stuff we ordered just never arrived and i don't recommend ordering western food here either.

We were obliged to pay for the New Years Eve dinner which we weren't happy about but the food and entertainment was great even though it was starting to rain!

All in all we can't really fault this place and would definately stay again.

Heard a lot about Boracay since young but it is not as good as Tioman island in terms of nature. The sand may be whiter but the coral and fishes are not as colorful and nice compared to Tioman. I only need to snorkel in Tioman island to see beautiful coral and fishes but not in Boracay. The hotel is only at acceptable range as it is quite old and the decor in the room is simple when I compared with a few hotels of similar and cheaper price in the island. Maybe, one attractive point is the beachfront across the road. The blackout is common in this place and the Internet connection is cranky. The blame on these is always the provider and the rain/storm.

This year in Jan my Dad and Stepmom took me and my brother to Boracay. It was our first time but their third. We booked to stay at the Pearl of the Pacific. My Dad and Stepmom made a booking 2 months before we left Adelaide & rang them before we arrived to confirm our booking for our beach front room. They told us on arrival our room wasn't available, that in fact one of their staff members moved their friends into our room a day earlier. they offered us a down grade to a less interesting room but we weren't impressed, we booked a beach front room and thats what we wanted. we sat alongside another four couples who were being messed around as well and waited for 4hours in the lobby after traveling by plane, boat and car to get there. After being messed around we were finally given the option to move hotels at their expense so we moved however
we still ended up paying. the only room at this other hotel was more expensive then our original room and we thought Pearl of the Pacific paid the difference, they didn't. This hotel didn't care about their guests or they would of done more to help.

i've been to Pearl of the Pacific Boracay during Peak Season last April, the location of the Hotel is very nice, they have the best beach front in Boracay, even though that our room is located at Hillside Residences, they have this Golf Car to fetch us when we want to go the room/beach., our room was big with veranda for 3 persons, everyday they change our towels and clean our room.for their food, they have everyday buffet breakfast, with different varieties like Filipino Food, American and Italian..

Room Tip: Pearl Residences are the best rooms @Pearl of the Pacific

Me and my friend stayed her for a weekend and we got a book and buy deal from travel tour expo last February.
Here's my pros and cons

PROS:
- Staff is quite accommodating especially the guards and the activity coordinator which is "Kuya Jun" he gave us a good deal with the activity.
-Good Flatscreen TV and aircon.
-BEST Beachfront because their beach front is very wide.
-Nice relaxing massage at Neo Spa (part of the package)
-30 mins before the check-in time, they allowed to go to our room. thank you for that.
-enough supply of beach towels
-very relaxing beach bed.
--They have a great beach front since their property is wide. Also, the beach front is not that crowded compare to others.

CONS:
-I told their reservation/sales staff from Manila to book us in the deluxe poolside so that we're just near at the beach, but when I received the confirmation letter the room stated there was a Hillside. So I needed to clarify things out with them.
-Upon arrival, the reservation staff told me that we might be billeted at the apartment room type wherein we need to ride a golf cart just to reach it, but i really insisted to put us in the deluxe poolside since it was the agreement before. Good thing they provided the deluxe poolside.
-Their pool is just a pool. nothing special. Hopefully, they would be able to place a pool near the beach.
- Few choices from the breakfast buffet and flies are everywhere.
-there's a crack in the toilet seat and no bidet.

To summarize, there's no problem with the operational service, they just need to be consistent with what they tell to the guests. Thank you for giving us the poolside room.
Don't expect much from the rooms and food but their beach front is really great! and also the Neo day spa.

Room Tip: Book the beachfront room to appreciate pearl of the pacific.
