“Very Cool Little Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

From the first ride up to Nami on the bamboo cage elevator from the beach, you know you're in for a charming experience. All of the rooms are different and all have lovely views of the beach and ocean.
We were in Boracay for 8 days in August 2012, visiting our son who is opening an MMA / Muy Thai training camp on Diniwit Beach Road. We kept extending our trip day to day and moved rooms within the hotel 3 times..and thus experienced 4 different rooms.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nami. The location, the staff, the rooms...everything was wonderful. We're a little fussy sometimes and the Nami staff always came through and solved any problem. For our next trip to Boracay we will definitely be staying at Nami.

Room Tip: Not ok for travelers with any mobility / knee problems. Restaurant food is good. No food in Boracay...

We stayed here over the week before Easter and we loved it? We decided on Nami as it was a little out of the way (Boracay is Manic around Easter) and we had read that Diniwid was not as badly affected by the green algae typical at the time of year we stayed (April). It is an easy stroll back over to the main beach or a cheap trike ride? Food was good and drinks were nice? As previously mentioned the rooms are a bit tired! But they are very clean and the view more than makes up for it!

Highlight though was our butler Toni! She was an absolute star and made the trip!

My friend and I stayed only one night. We arrived there, we had to take an original elevator made of wood. Unfortunately the sun wasn't with us but it was still an enjoyable place. As soon as we arrived we were offered a really sweet drink. They took our luggage to put it on the room, which was big enough, with a nice bed, an amazing view on the beach, a pretty balcony with a Jacuzzi, bathroom was nice too, and a TV. Just little bad points, some lights were not working, not a lot of plugs, some ants near the bathroom but not that much so it was ok, eventually, there is no Wifi on the room, it's just on the restaurent which is a bit disappointing. Then we ate there with still a the view on the beach, the service was really nice, we didn't wait long (but there wasn't a lot of people so...) the display of the food on the plates was beautiful and it was good but my friend and I were expected a bit more, whereas the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was really nice, really helpful but with the person who take care of us, I was feeling sometimes as if the smiles and the rest were a bit fake, but maybe I'm wrong. Another little bad point, when we went to eat, we stopped the AC because it was very cold on the room, when we came back, the AC was on again, the curtain were closed and the pillows were changed which meant that someone on the staff went in the room. I think it was good intention but I was not comfortable with someone going into the room whereas I left everything in there. Then we asked to put on the jacuzzi, they did it right away and put some candles, it was really nice. Moreover, you can borrow some Dvd for free which is really nice ! but it could be even nicer if we had the TV remote instead of going infront of the TV to change the volume.. Eventually, it's a bit 'far away' from the white beach but there is free buses really so, it's not a problem.
To sum up, some little bad points (such as no Wifi in the room) but really nice place, comfortable, amazing view, restful.

2, My checked out time was 5am, on the Morning. The day before I checked out, I've checked twice from the reception that if they will prepare the taking away breakfast for us in the next Morning. They confirmed twice that they will afford the taking away breakfast. However, we I checked out, the receiption said they didn't prepared the taking away breakfast. And there are another 2 guests also checked out with the same time, but they have the breakfast. Finally, the reception give us 2 piece of bread for each...

3, The wifi is only can be used in the recepition area and restaurant area.

Room Tip: The location is far from the downtown. But the hotel has the free shuttle bus, you can call the rece...

We enjoyed a great stay at Nami. The location is superb - Nami's beach was definitely the best place to stay on the island and whilst not quite as stunning as White Beach it is a lot quieter and only a short walk around the headland from White Beach and all of its bars and restaurants - the best of both worlds.

I would not describe the resort as luxury, it's probably best rated 3*, but don't let that deter you as its perfectly comfortable, the service is good and the setting very special. The butler concept is a nice touch but don't be misguided as you won't get a butler in the truest sense of the word - in reality it just means that you will consistently be served by the same waiter in the restaurant each day and since you then build up a rapport with him, he ends up booking your trips and spa treatments, and expects a hefty tip for the privilege of doing so!

We loved the sun deck by the sea where you get waiter service for drinks and food. The main restaurant was also good quality and in fact some of the best food we found in boracay (which in general was disappointing). The spa also offered great massages but be careful to specify oneof the more private rooms as the treatment room by reception is in full view of anyone walking by!

I stayed at Nami in October of 2011 for a birthday vacation. It was an amazing experience. The room had a perfect view of the clear beaches and it was very quiet and relaxed. I do not recommend this place for young party-goers. It is a bit further away from the loud bars and music of Station 2 and 3. Since it was a romantic weekend, we preferred the quiet Nami atmosphere. It took about 8-10 minutes on the trike to get to the D-mall for shops and restaurants.

On the whole, Nami Rigner was very accommodating and the service was wonderful. Unfortunately they were out of a lot of menu items when we tried ordering them but it was off season so that could have been why. If I ever return to Boracay I will definitely be returning to Nami Resort.
