This cafe may not be on the beachfront of Boracay,but it is a great place to relax and enjoy a scrumptous meal after walking and swimming along the world famous Boracay beachfront. This cafe is along the main road just behind the beachfront of station one,it is a stones throw away from the crown regency prince hotel. You will first be drawn to this place because if the fabulous decor. You will love it because of the wonderful food and great service. The owner (Jun Vino )himself entertains and serves the guests. They make a great homemade longanissa and chicken hamonado. Also try their specialty adobo twice cooked.

I lové bay leaf café. I have Been here in boracay for 2 months now and its m'y sunday dinner after à long day of diving. Thé twice cooked adobo is m'y favorite. I Will sûre to miss it When i go back to France. Its located on thé main Road station 1 beside florista flower shop this is à mist try When you are in boracay. Last visites décembre 23, 2012.

I discovered Bayleaf cafe months ago and I must say that this place just makes me wanna go back again and again.. they have the best cooked adobo in the island!!! The staff are really nice! it felt like home. A must try is their cheese cake really really good with coffee.. and also, for merienda try their palabok and banana turon yummmy!!! i'm so excited to go back to the island coz i have been craving for their food... this is a haven for people who loves to eat and chill :) a must try!

We dined December 16. Dinner time.

We were very excited by the reviews in this restaurant, so we went there very enthusiastic to try everything out.

When we got there, there was no other customer but us. We asked to be seated (all 12 of us) upon sitting down, the waiter took our order, and left us. He began serving our drinks first. He then served us our appetizer, but we had no plates! we asked for plates for the appetizers he gave us 2. Just 2 plates for all 12 of us. He didn't even bother giving us utensils. We had to ask for it, and he gave us 5 sets. when You can plainly see that there were 12 of us.

We were hungry so we let it slide, just sharing our food on 2 plates and 5 sets of utensils. The main course arrived before the soup. And we still dont have any plates. We had to repeatedly ask for plates, but he seems to not know what he was doing, just keep saying ok, but no plates coming out. We wanted to ask for house water, but again he gave just a few glasses. Again and again we keep asking him. One of my friends had to go up to him in the kitchen and serve us ourselves with water and the plates.

When finally all of us had plates, they were still wet. and no tissue was provided. When the soup came, there wasn't any serving spoon. and neither were there any bowls. When we asked for bowls, he gave us a platito. At that point, I keep wondering were they got this server as he seems very clueless. We had to tell him repeatedly, and he only just says ok.

By the time the meal was over, we asked to speak to the manager. And the waiter just sai "ayun po oh, nasa labas sya" he didn't even have any effort to call the manager.

When the manager went to our table she said she's the mom of the owner, so we explained calmly why we were disappointed and hoped for better service next time. You know what the lady manager did????? THE MANAGER WALKED OUT ON US. she went back to the kitchen. left us dumbfounded that she actualy walked out on a complaining customer.

She went back 10 minutes later, saying: mam, we're only 3 in the restaurant, and I have to cook. Plus this waiter, he's new, 3 days at work. I want to fire him na nga eh. Don't worry he'll say sorry to you. She looked to the waiter. and his sorry went like this: "Sorry po mam sa kwan."

And then the manager was looking at us as if waiting for us to say that everything that just happened was acceptable.

We gave up at that point we just paid the bill (we ordered so plenty, we shouldn't have paid at all), and had dinner again somewhere else.
