“Nice cabanas”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

It is a small resort located near Willy's Rock in Station 1.
We stayed 4 nights in a deluxe room with ocean views and no outdoor veranda. This room was clean and spacious with 2 Queen Sized beds.
The staff were attentive and helpful.
There is good WiFi connection throughout the lobby, the restaurant, your room, and even on the cabana.
The breakfast was ok, but no many options. I was wondering why they don't have cheese and ham. But I loved the "Arroz Caldo", a kind of rice soup and you can add onion, garlic, boiled eggs, and so on.
On the beach there is a limited number of beach chairs and there is only 8 cabanas. The cabanas are very nice, but it is better to make reservation the day before.

Although my rating is 'Average' I would still recommend this resort as the staff were excellent, and it seems the other rooms look lovely.
But do not go here if you can only afford the 'standard room'. These seem to be converted storage cupboards ! no windows, noisy old air-conditioning units which leak. We booked a 'twin' room, only to arrive to find out the standard rooms do not come as twin, only queen beds. A new configuration could not be accommodated, they do not keep spare single beds. Instead we were 2 adult women, 1 in a queen, 1 in a cot. We paid considerable money to stay here, so we ended up moving back to the Boracay Regency in Station 2 which had no problem with a twin booking.

We spent new years eve here. The event the resort put on was fantastic ! The set up on the beach was beautiful, the staff are world-class, the food was great and the fireworks display was awesome.

Word of advice - they seem to only have half a dozen sun lounges for a reasonably large resort, so you have to get up early to score one for the day ! (Estacio...if you read these reviews....you may find guests stay, eat, drink at the resort all day if you provide more sun lounges = more $ for you !).

This resort has huge potential.

Room Tip: See above review about not booking a 'standard room'.

This place is money. What a value for what you receive: impeccable service, outstanding location, and all the comforts of a popular destination resort. First of all, you must stay in Station One resorts. The other beaches are polluted with parked boats and tons of people and algae. The moment you arrive at Estacio Uno you are greeted with a sea shell necklace and a drink. At every moment you have staff asking how you are doing and if there is anything they can assist you with, always with a smile. You must get the transfers included in your stay as it is not trivial getting from the Caticlan airport to the resort. They pick you up at the airport in a van and take you to the seaside center where they transfer you to Boracay island by boat. Once on the island, another hotel van drives you to the resort. You should also include daily breakfast during your stay. While there are not that many choices, they do change the spread every day: bacon, eggs Benedict, omelettes made to order, fruit, cereal, sausage, plus local food fare are amongst the offerings. Trust: you will need a hearty breakfast ahead of your sea activities! The hotel has an activities coordinator and this is better than the roadside vendors that approach you at the beach. The hotel takes care of you by providing towels, renting snorkeling equipment, and even giving you food to feed the fish! After your adventures at sea, relax in one of the beachfront cabanas. Make sure you reserve them early in the morning during breakfast, as they are complimentary for three hours and they book fast. There is no better way to relax and is the only hotel in Station one that has them. The rooms are comfortable, with nice bathrooms and free Wifi throughout the property, including at the beachfront cabannas. There is no fitness center but running at the beach every day sufficed. Places to visit: the Estacio Uno dinner buffet on Fridays, Jonas juicery, Tito's, Mesa, and the Sea Winds Resort all you can eat BBQ dinner buffet. Estacio Uno is an outstanding resort and a must stay in Boracay.

Room Tip: No need for a room with an ocean view: you will be spending little time in it anyway. However, the o...

I was actually looking forward to our stay here after seeing the amazing photos online. Unfortunately the room we received was tiny, cramped & the bathroom looked very old.
The lobby & outdoor eating area is beautifully decorated. Situated right on the beach it has amazing views. However location doesn't compensate for the poor customer service & over priced room. I would suggest to stay elsewhere as it isn't worth the cost.

From photos, this hotel is a no doubt attractive. High rollers will not think twice about paying for their best rooms. Their "standard" rooms probably got their standards from backpackers range of accommodations, but at 5 star prices. Its a pathetically small room with "windows" to help with ventilation only. Our air-conditioning was faulty. Repeated requests for help from front desk fell on deaf ears. Might as well employ handicaps for your front desk. At least their smiles are genuine.

Even if you can overlook the poor excuse for a standard room, the service is pretty bad for a 5 star establishment. Apart from non-responsive front desk, the dining area staff were mostly unfriendly. Won't even look you in the eye. And one morning at breakfast, they ran out of butter. Maybe they were expecting me to go the mini mart nearby to buy my own. Laughable.

Only good thing about the place is its beachfront. Then again there are way better beachfront resorts on Boracay.

Go stay elsewhere. Please.

Room Tip: Just avoid this place totally.

The Estacio is not perfect 5 star hotel which include a lot of old part.
We live in the standard room two day. I never live the room without window.
The Estacio is the first one.
For these two day, i see a cockroach, Spider and Ant in the room.
Even we request the housekeeping, it still not help to clear the bugs..
Except for the bad room, the pool is small.. the restaurant is bad too.
The beach and localization is beautiful, but the resort is really disappoint
