“Not a five stars hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 days ago NEW

I really believe that this hotel chain is working because of the kindness of its staff because the management is sucking!!!! ( you can check my criticism for crown regency in Cebu as well)
When a hotel and or resort wants to be assumed as a five plus stars and prices are five star, the services as well should meet the five stars standards.
What I mean? I stayed in this hotel for a week, everyday my wife was forced to write in a note for the housekeeping department, to replace the bottles of water and coffees and sugars, the complementaries!!!
Internet was not enough even for a Skype call and unfortunate we used our cellphones data!
NO HOT WATER!!!!!
Pool at the first day was dirty but ok for swimming , as the days go on the poll was more dirty with peak at the last day to be green color and closed for people!!!!
When I asked what is going on the front desk management told me that is under treatment because of contact with salt water???!!!
Anyway I'm not a specialist so I will believe you
-When it will be ready?
-We don't know sir!
-What you will tell to your clients that they came today and will leave tomorrow???
-...... ( no answer at all)!!!!!!!!!
The good things are the oceanarium with ocean bar and the restaurant Wang Shang Lo with Chinese kitchen
Many Bravos to chef really!!!
And of course don't forget to thanks once again the staff!!!

My kids enjoyed the facilities including the kiddie pool and wave pool. Staffs are polite and efficient. Althoug a bit pricey compared to other hotels around. It is not that far going to the beach and sandy area which is good because it is quiet.better than la carmela i must say.

We stayed here 5D4N. Reception were very friendly and helpful. Room were very clean, best for family with toddlers. But 1 thing I dont like was, last 2 nights of our stay was very noisy at night hard to sleep. So we called the front desk to settle this. They sent someone to knock our door. Ask who's very noisy.. Isn't it they're the one who going to look for it? Going to beach is not a problem they have service, but back to hotel, you need to wait for service or walk it. if walking not so good for toddlers, there's flood in some place. but inspite of that, we really love our stayed... Esp. the reception are very helpful, our pick up service didn't show up on time, they used their celphone to follow up our pick up. Pick up service is not under hotel. We really appreciated it.

Room Tip: Pool side view...

We got to visit this one today April 15 2015. I'll go straight to the pros and cons. Pros: 1. Hotels a 4-star to me so expect a 4-star service. 2. Hotel facility's top of the line. 3. Junior suite room is highly recommended, get a room facing poolside. 4. Kiddie pool and wave pool. 5. Underwater aquarium: the longest one in the phils and only one in boracay. Cons: 1. This hotel is not beach front, rather on the main boracay road and a little walk to the beach. 2. Parts of the hotel seems inadequately illuminated. Overall, for family trips and money not an issue, this one you would not regret booking. Get the junior suite!

The hotel is not at the beachfront. You have to walk a block to get to the beach. The area is safe though as there is a police station across. Took an hour after 2pm for us to get our room when check in time is supposedly 2pm.

The pool called Wave is fun. It's like the actual waves at sea. It is not safe though as there are surfers who join those who are just swimming, especially the kids. Not sure why this is not being regulated by the management.

The hotel is in Boracay but I don't understand why they can't provide towels knowing that people will really swim. They will only replace wet towels, not add to the ones you have in the room. It takes time too for them to come over if you need house keeping to clean up, specially if the room becomes wet when we went swimming. Staff is respectful and ok.

There are toiletries provided, hair dryer, coffee and a kettle for hot water. They don't replenish the bottled water though.

You can also get airport transfers at an additional fee. They can also pack your breakfast if you're on early flights.

Food is decent. There are choices during the buffet breakfast. You can only charge to your room at selected restaurants. For some, you have to pay upfront. There's a convenience store by the lobby to get cheaper bottled water and snacks.

My family and friends, booked in this Hotel for a Holy week Break. The Check in time is 2 pm and we arrived in Boracay around 9am. Good thing, the Front desk Officer allowed an early check in for very minimal fee. The staff is so friendly especially the housekeeping.
One thing we liked in this hotel is the 24hr mini grocery located near the lobby. Whatever it is that you need, it's available.
The place is a 3 minutes walk from the beach but for us, it is a plus factor since we need a relaxing ambiance away from the crowd.
We'll definitely be back.

I had this 3 days 2 nights vacation with my japanese friends. The hotel room was good. Very spacious, the ambiance was quite pleasant. Location wise, NOT GOOD especially for old people. We have to walk atleast 3 to 5 minutes to the beachfront because the hotel shuttle stops at 6pm. They should have extended it, knowing that the hotel only serves chinese food and most economical restaurants are located in the beachfront.

I just have to warn you... Do not be deceive by personnel pretending to be good at something only to found out in the end that you are CHEATED. I was really disappointed. I encountered this to one of their staff "RENZ" , at first he was very courteous in assisting us but afterwards he was very insistent and apprehensive barging in our room offering us this Island hopping activity. Knowing that he was a hotel staff we trusted him. We were joined to a group of peers just like us availing of the activity. It was a bad experience for me and my friends because no one is assisting us and we paid a huge amount to him. And we found out that the official rate was only PHP 800 per head and yet this guy charged us 100% more of the original price. He was not even connected to the company as per the boat personnel. They said we were only endorsed to them. What a CHEATER so beware of this guy. " Kala nya siguro dahil foriegner kasama ko maloloko nya na kami ... " SHAME ON YOU!!!!
