My cousin and I arrived in Boracay in July/August 2012 and we booked to stay 8 nights at The Spider House. We were greeted with smiling faces, welcome drinks, and 180 degrees of gorgeous view! The aesthetics of the establishment are all natural as it’s made almost entirely of bamboo and wood, and purposefully built so as to have as little influence on the natural flora and fauna in the immediate environment. We experienced nothing but the best hospitality, service, and friendliness that Boracay is so renowned for! The food was lovely and the people are what made the whole trip. The owner, Allan was generous enough to upgrade us to a superior room with the most amazing view and private bathroom. All the rooms have wonderful sea views; the shared ablutions are modest and clean; and the common area, near the bar and pool table, is encompassed by a beautifully designed bamboo deck that drops right off into the ocean! The location is not as far as some of the other comments might suggest, as everything from Bulabog/Puka Beach/Stations 1, 2 &3 are all very easily accessible either along the beach itself, or by an inexpensive tricycle trip! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Spider House, and I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on Boracay Island. Thank you for a most amazing experience and a lovely stay! We will be back!
