“Practical & Basic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Good basic accommodations, great beach front location.
PROS:
1. spacious room with own balcony (2nd floor)
2. shared beach area with the more expensive hotels
3. affordable

CONS:
1. no direct road access
2. sun beds are shared with another hotel

Overall - it was a pleasant experience to stay at Swiper's Inn, and we will definitely consider going back.

Room Tip: 2nd floor room has it's own balcony

Stay here for 3 reasons:

1. The Rooms

There are only 2, but they are huge and spacious. There's a separate living/dining area apart from the bedroom (though technically it's just one big room - think Studio apartment). Nice and modern furniture. King Size bed was comfy - no complaints there.

I liked the room here better than most others i've stayed in (Le Soleil, White house, Two Seasons, Regency)

2. Location

Right above Kasbah and beside Discovery Shores, you have the best, widest, cleanest and least populated stretch of beach in the entire island (at least among Stations 1-3).

3. Value

At below P5,000/night - you can't ask for better value.

Do NOT stay here if you're looking for a nice lobby/pool/gym/amenities or 5-star hotel service

Inn has no road access except from the beach. In aug when tides were high in morning & late night, it means we can't get out/in the hotel!! The access was totally cut off by the tides & to add on, there was no water supply in the morning. To our horror, staff said it is common to have NO WATER SUPPLY for hours in the morning due to some water works. Water also seeped into our room thru the floor, window & aircon unit. we left after 1 night, with no refund of our advance deposits for the next 3 nights! I booked thru myboracayguide.com who didn't help by advising us of the possible high tides in advance, to think that i still chatted with them "live" on their website to ask for recommendation! & when we left after 1 night, they can only tell me to book another place.
