“Cheap beers, a great place to watch the sunset!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

This was our “go to” spot during our time in Boracay. This was by far the cheapest and coldest beer we could find near our hotel in Station 3. Honorable mentions for the custom beer koozie the sleeve on their beers, having a nice bathroom and great beach seating you can use if you order from them. They also have good food, try the vegetarian curry and the pancit bihon! The service was average like most restaurants in the Philippines.

“Jolly good Ole Time, Kurt is cool!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

Kurts and Mugs is on the beach in the station 3 area. The place is owned by a very nice BIG man and his wife. He sits there all day and greets his guests and will have a beer with them. Being on the beach, its a nice place to hang out. Prices are good and staff are friendly. This place has a following of people who return every trip to Boracay or are friends of former customers. Its easy to understand why. Food wise, if you like German food this is a place to try. I found their breakfast to be one of the best in the area and worth a stroll there in the morning. The only problem with breakfast there if too early, BIG KURT is not awake or there yet, so no smiling face from him at that hour. This is recommended as a stop on Boracay and has been there for more years than I know of

“great fried chicken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2011

A German hang-out, service and food is good.

For some reason the ventilation works — I was not bothered by the chain-smoking Deutchlanders.

Thousands of used books.

“Nice and friendly atmosphere, good food and excellent located”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2011

Nice and clean hotelrooms with a litle kitchen. The food in restaurant is wery good (at least for Europeans) its like "homemade". Location is perfect for a "sundowner", sit in the bar in front of the palmfringed beach and watch the sun turning red, and dissappear in the ocean. Thumbs up for Kurts place. Try it out.
