“Kiteboarders' Dream Resort”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2010

Perfect location on Bulabog beach. The only full-service, 5-star resort on Bulabog- Kiter's heaven. The suites are well-appointed, modern furnishings with high end finishing touches. Floors are beautiful and the "7Stones" theme represented throughout. We originally booked a deluxe suite, but were upgraded to a grand deluxe suite which gave us 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and dining area. There were LCD flat screen TVs in both bedrooms and in the living room! Free hi-speed wifi internet in our room was an added bonus as we had our laptop with us. Fantastic pool with swim up bar, but what made it truly the best experience was the absolutely wonderful staff. From the reservations agent, front desk staff, bartenders, breakfast servers, etc.... everyone goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are taken care of. Our children loved being able to swim in the pool, play on the beach and all the while see their dad's kite in the air as he was kiteboarding. My older son was able to take windsurfing lessons just 50 meters down the beach from the resort. Gorgeous views from the room and breathtaking from the terrace. Great wind for kiters (we were there third week in March) and we were able to kite every single day except for one when the wind was down. Great daily happy hour and wonderful lunch specials. Breakfast was nice filipino/western fusion and loved the local offerings like Philippine tocino, longaniza and beef tapa, along with the eggs of our choice. We will definitely return to 7Stones!!

We did not stay in the hotel but had lunch a few times at their restaurant.
The service is rather slow and to overcome that issue, we ordered in the morning for lunch.
The food is good European food at very reasonable prices.
Their desserts are excellent

me, my wife and two of our workmates stay in this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days, i could say that this hotel is so fabulous, from the service itself, staff are friendly specially the guy who pick up us from the port I think he is the Hotel representative, he is so helpful and friendly, the smile of the staff shows that they are sincere and caring. The hotel is perfectly match our expectations, the location, the view from the rooms are so nice, the private pool is not that big but it is very nice, the room that we stay is very clean and organize as a Hotelier I know how does the staff care about the things of their guest they have the personal touch. Honestly when we arrive the first thing that i check is that, Bathroom because if the bathroom is clean for me it counts the whole room is clean. We really enjoy our stay,, for sure we will comeback in this hotel...

My first stay on this side of the island, after many stays on the resorts on white beach. We actually moved here half way through our vacation as our hotel on white beach was just too noisy. One of our good Filipino friends recomended we should try it, simply because it was quiet, and away from the noise.

We stayed in a quite beautiful suite, with side views over to the beach and sea. The rooms really were beutiful, with lots of space, a kitchen and really nice bathroom. We were on the 3rd floor so the views were also good. The hotel felt that it was not 100% open and many of the rooms seemed vacant. The rooms were modern, very clean and I thought very good value for money. A short 5-10 minute walk and you were over to the other side of the island and on to the white beach, which was just as well because this side of the island, and the beach is quite different.

Firstly the wind is much stronger, and thus the sea was no where near as calm. Great for the kite surfers, which were good to watch, but not for the beach. As much as I don't want to say this, because I love this part of the world so much, the beach was probably the dirtest I have ever been on. The sea washes in masses of weed on to the beach, mixed with it huge amounts of litter, plastic bottles etc. Really not nice, and really not a beach for swimming or sun bathing. A great shame really.

The hotel, and the other hotels on this beach really need to spend some money on a machine to clean up the beach, otherwise people are not going to stay there.

Would I recommend it, well yes , because the hotel really is good and quiet, and you can easily walk over to white beach. But if you want to step out of your hotel straight on to a beautiful beach, then this hotel is not for you.

My friend has heard of great reviews of this place in Boracay, which is why we booked our last night there to experience "how great" it was. Going there was only a 5 minute tricycle ride away from White Beach (or from The Mall) but also accessible when you walk.

Arriving there, we were greeted by spectacular staff who immediately attended to us with smiles when we checked in. It was a comfort to see their staff greeting us with friendly smiles.

The room was a treat for us too. There was a bag available for use for when their customers go to the beach, the bathrooms large, clean and packed with hotel necessities. The beds were also luxurious.

It's nice that this place also has a huge pool with a bar where my friends and I hung out at night. We wanted to spend more time at the hotel and the value for the stay was well worth it.

The hotel is on Bulabog Beach, which is better for windsurfers and kiteboarders than for swimming and sunbathing, but it is also just a ten-minute walk away from White Beach, the heart of the action in Boracay. The beach is nowhere as nice as that on White Beach, but it is quiet and private, so if you're either a watersports enthusiast or a honeymooner, you might like this place.

I stayed in a Superior Room, but asked to look around the other options available, so I saw that my room was about half the size of the next-best option. The Junior Suite was much better, and the Deluxe Suite was really impressive, with a balcony and jacuzzi, along with very spacious quarters that included a kitchen and dining area.

Service was also very good, with staff that were unfailingly friendly and helpful, although as a single female traveler, I also found some of them to be a little overly familiar--not good when the hotel touts privacy as one of its main advantages. But then again, the place was full of honeymooners (mostly from Korea) and they all seem to enjoy the place very much, so maybe this place isn't made for single travelers like me.

Every staffs work at 7Stones are very nice and friendly. The size of the superior room is relatively small but it is good enough for 1-2 persons to stay. 7Stones is located at the Bulabog Beach, and its neighbourhoods are mainly sourrounding by the locals (and no decent suites nearby when compares to 7Stones).

The highlight of 7Stones is the pool.
The lowlight of 7Stones is the location which is at the bulabog beach (comparing to the white beach at Station 2 -- opposite to the island).

I booked my room online at asiatravel.com with a very compatiable price for 2 nights with breakfast in USD220 (Taxes inclusive; low season rate), it is much cheaper than making your reservation at the official web site of 7Stones.

Wind fences are shown/built at the White beach from July till Dec, and at the Bulabog beach from Jan till June; therefore, you may consider to pick for your choice of hotel in different seasons/months if you do not prefer to have any wind fences to block your view.
