“Used to be really nice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2013

It is now crowded, dirty and good only for a visit for first time visitors to Boracay. try to go very early in the morning before the hordes of tourists descend on it.

“No crocs here”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Located near the southern tip of Boracay, Crocodile Island harbors no crocodiles, but that the island's profile looks like one. It can only be accessed by a motorized outrigger boat from Station 1 or 2. Poor to mediocre snorkeling site near shore, but slightly better diving towards the drop-off. In general, you have to know where to swim to see the sea life. Apparently, some boat operators don't know (or care) where they drop you off to swim or snorkel.

Scuba tip: An easy, no d-stop OW dive, it is done as a boat-entry, shallow wall dive. There is an extensive shallow reef with an assortment of soft and hard SPS corals, including a huge variety of schooling fish like silversides and grunts. Average depth is 15 metres, visibility is 50 metres, and bottom times can extend to one hour. Though not necessary, I used Nitrox 32.

The sea was a bit rough with heavy currents. The snorkeling around here was fun but I could only see really small fish n mediocre looking corals

“Much better snorkeling in Thailand and Bali, than here!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

What a waste of $50.00 aus dollars to come here.Saw tiny fish that would go well an fit in a fish tank .Waves were too big at this time of the year to visit ,I just sat on the stair on boat with some bread for these tiny fish.coral was not colorful at all an seem to be dead. What a total waste of my time going here. The boat ride was okay for a 3 hour tour.

Ciao

“nice selection of fish in shallow water”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013

We went to Crocodile Island as part of the Allen B Fun Island Hop tour. We paid an extra 20 or 50 pesos as a "reef fee". It is well worth it. There was some coral, many small fish in shallow water of 4'-10'. Saw a nice parrot fish. No currents to worry about on our visit. They have flotation vests for those who need them.
However, bring your own gear if you can. They have no fins, and just cheap masks and snorkels.
