crown regency boracay is on the beach (station 3 end which doesnt allow hotels room for huts, but they do provide beach beds). it's very new and almost impossible to verify your booking by phone. expedia had them hang up twice trying to verify my booking, and despite an email confirming they would collect us from Caticlan airport, they didn't and airport people couldnt find hotel number (which is (288-1888. room v.modern but small with no area to lounge - watched TV on bed, and balcony not large enough for chair. The hotel was only 18 days old.
Great lobby/breakfast area, which is lovely to look out on the beach activities - but why do they charge for a 2nd cup of coffee at breakfast? Staff v.nice; management v.pleasant but ineffective.
Although I enjoyed my holiday, next time I'd choose,if I can get favourable rates, Fridays of Boracay or Boracay Regency as both provided pleasant private outdoor areas and bigger room area. However they may be pricier.
Had backup generator, inroom safe, tea/coffee making, fridge and lovely small bathroom.
Near all the action of dive stations, great restaurants around

Went on a philippines airline package. when i got to the hotel, they upgraded me.

beach: to die for

service: great and very helpful

pool: clean

nightlife: great, could be a bit loud for those who turn in early
