“Rooms are ok, but hotel can use some improvement”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

We were recently married and this hotel stay was a gift from my sister-in-law. The room was clean, and the bed was very nice and comfy. The bathroom had a see-thru glass window dividing it from the bed area, which I guess, is perfect for couples and honeymooners like us. I'm not sure how this would sound for a group of friends, though lol.

The receptionist was very accomodating, actually all the staff were helpful and nice to us. However, there was no phone in our room, and the mobile phone given to us cannot be reached - so if we needed any assistance we have to go down to the front desk. Our room's door also gets stuck quite frequently that at first, we had a hard time getting in and we had to call the attention of the staff to open it for us. It turns out there's a "technique" to open the door that my husband had to learn so we can get inside our room without needing help. Also, the location of the hotel is far from the actual beach and restaurants that we always had to walk for several minutes or ride a tricycle.

And lastly, the free breakfast - especially their "hotdogs" taste awful to me. I hope they offer more variants next time.

All in all, it's not that bad. I'd recommend this to those who are not picky on the location of the hotel as long as they have a nice bed to sleep on at the end of the day.

i stayed here with my friend for 3d/2n. Nice room. Not too far from the beach. Hotel staff are very nice. I'm satisfied to stay here. They offer great deal in regards with room rates with breakfast. Though not much choices with the breakfast, it's still good. Will consider staying here again when I come back in Boracay. Thank you Erus Suites for making our stay in Boracay so nice.

I booked for 4days 3nights at affordable prices. Our room at 4th floor and the stairs very steep and slipery. Please dont stay here in raining season because the road in front the hotel will easily get flooded. Very smelly since Boracay dont have proper drainage system.

The only reason for giving this hotel an average rating is the staff. They are very professional, friendly and try to solve your problem instantly. Staff spoke simple English. Plus they have security personel manned the hotel 24/7!

Breakfast is awful! Nothing to shout but the coffe taste good. Room are not clean, water heater is very confusing, the curtain are very thin and very noisy road. If you are first timer in Boracay, please consider other resort especially the beachfront. Erus is near to White Beach but walking is not convenience. Trike from Erus to Station 1 will cost you Php 15 only.

If you arrive in Caticlan or Kalibo, email Erus and tell them to arrange it so you dont get cheated by trike/boat operator. Again, staff is very attentive, a guy from hotel pick us up in Caticlan Airport and send us to jetty when check out. Tips him cause he gonna help with your baggage.

I will not consider to stay in Erus again but I love the staff! The check-in guy is very worried when we change our plan to check-out on day 3. He very concern if we had any problem during our stay. Like I said, the staff are genuine!

Room Tip: Please email the hotel after made your booking. Ask for low level room. 2nd floor and above is very...

Stayed here for 4d/3n last week. What I remember most is they didn't change the bed sheets! For 4days we were using the same sheets! No phone to call room service and they have limited choices for breakfast. The street in front is flooded even when ain't raining due to clogged drainage. No wifi in the rooms only in reception and dining. The room we were in was pretty decent, and the staff were friendly but for the price we paid, I'd say it's better to look somewhere else, lots of accommodation around that's way cheaper.

room too small,wi-fi only availaable at lobby & dining area...should have it all within its building...no choices of breakfast.....
good points is their staff ..friendly & help with a smile..
ok 5-10 mins walk to white beach....along the way pass thru many sarisari souvenir shops.
curtains should be darker to cover the sunlight....

Myself and my partner stayed at the Erus hotel for 10 nights. We requested a quiet room as we knew the hotel was situated on the main road which can get a bit noisy. When we arrived at the hotel they said that there was no noise free rooms available for the price range that we booked, so they gave us a free upgrade to a bigger suite on the quiet side of the hotel. The hotel is on the main road which makes it very convenient and it is only a 5 min. taxi from the beach or Dmall. We found the staff to be very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room service was available to clean our room any time of the day, which is great when you want to have a late sleep in the morning and they were even prepared to bring breakfast to our room in the morning. The breakfast was tasty. You get a few breakfast choices of which you can choose 1. Each choice is filling and comes with a coffee, tea or juice.
The swimming pool was clean but very small and is propably the only negative to the hotel. Luckily we could use the pool at another resort where our friends were staying. My suggestion is to use the pool facilities at another resort nearby. Most of the resorts offer their pool facilities to outsiders for around 100 pesos per day. Our room was an executive suite and was very spacious with a flatscreen tv incl. cable, a mini fridge, a big comfortable bed, small dining area, aircon, a nano docking station and a spacious bathroom with a rainfall shower big enough to fit a whole family.

Overall we had a great stay and found the hotel to be excellent value for money.
