“Excellent hotel, friendly staff and great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

We stayed here for 6 nights in the loft room.
Service has been great from the start. They allowed us to check in early. We were given a nice cold flannel and cold drink on arrival!

The room was clean, spacious and had nice cool air conditioning. The only downside was the air con was positioned next to the head of the bed, and we were unable to adjust the way the air was blowing so we had to sleep with our heads at the bottom of the bed but that was ok, the main thing was the room remained cool at all times.
The rooms included shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, shower cap, toothbrush and paste, cotton buds.

Breakfast was included and there was a good variety. Staff were friendly. The place where we had breakfast was nice and cool too.
Staff were very efficient at cleaning our rooms whilst we had our breakfast. They did a brilliant job at keeping our room clean, even folding our clothes for us.

The doors were not very sound proof, so you can hear other people shutting the doors or walking around. But that didn't bother us too much and we still slept very well.

We had our laundry done for the next day at a very good rate. 35pesos per kg of clothes. This all gets added at the end in your final bill which was handy.

Location of the hotel was in station 1, very close to beach. Literally you cross the road, walk through Obama restaurant and you are there.

Trike to hotel for 2 people costed us 120pesos. Staff helped us flag down trike and loaded our luggage onto it when we left.

The staff constantly kept the hotel area clean, you could always see them sweeping.

Overall, an excellent place to stay and I would definitely recommend this place.

We are currently staying here and some generators are buzzing and I can't even sleep! The tv cannot drown out the noise!

What's more is that when we arrived to check in at 2pm, our room wasn't ready. Their supervisor told us that they couldn't wake up the guest who's supposed to check out at 12nn. They tried to put is in another room but the lock isn't working and it gives off this endless beeping noise like that from an airplane. We had to wait for them to clean up the room that was initially intended for us. We just sat at their cafe for an hour! We paid for our stay (2 nights) in full and they weren't ready for us. That's inexcusable.

The room is okay with a nice bed. TV and aircon are new. The shower is above average. Their front desk staff, Dennis, is a dear. He is doing his best to resolve the issue with the generators that are apparently powering a club's event.

Ironically, we chose this place since it's away from the bustling beach. I just want some peace
and quiet.

Recently stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is 30 seconds from the beach - cross a small road and the beautiful beach is there. The beach-side restaurant is probably part of the hotel too as I charged all my restaurant F&B expenses to my room. My room was very clean, spacious, and comfy. Staff was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend it for a reasonable room rate like what I paid (apparently rates can vary). Overall, I had an enjoyable stay there.

We just came from the paradise that is Boracay. Since we left the hotel booking till a bit too late, not too many options were left for the period. Shore Time seemed like good value for money in comparison to some other resort type hotels at the White Beach.

Pros:
1. Good location on Station 1, ten minutes away from D'Mall and all the action.
2. Friendly and helpful staff. Then again being genuinely helpful, smiling and honest is a national characteristic.
3. Clean, decent size rooms. It is quite homely.
4. A few minutes away from Cocomangers, the 'club' of choice on the Island

Cons:
1. Although we stayed in one of the rooms not facing the beach, the noise from the tricycles kept me awake in the first night (it was a saturday nite)
2. You can use the loungers at the Obama Grill which is across the road, a few steps away from the Hotel but there is no beach umbrellas and it is not exclusive to hotel guests
3. You have a few set options for breakfast but honestly it leaves a lot to be desired

In conclusion, if you can afford it, stay in one of the top end hotels in Boat Station 1 or 2 - there are quite a few but expect to pay a lot more.

If your budged extends only to Shore Time, book it, it is clean, decent, people are friendly and honestly you do not come to Boracay to spend time at the Hotel

We are here right now and our room is a big disappointment. Our aircon remote is not working and our lights flickers when we turn it off. You need so much force to open the door. Worst hotel ever!!!! We been asking for a room change but they seem to ignore our request. We wanted to rest since we are so tired from a long trip.....grrrrrr!

This hotel is superb! By the time our tricycle dropped us infront of the hotel. The staff already helped us carry our baggages without needing to ask them to do so. It was already 9pm, and upon checking in they gave us welcome drinks (iced tea) and gave us a small wet towel. All the hassle (2 hours delay of flight and van ride from Kalibo to Caticlan) we went through was all worth it by staying in this hotel! We felt very welcomed and well accomodated from the time we stepped infront of the hotel up until we check out. Every peny that we've paid was worth it!

PROS:
Airconditioning - Split type aircon which can accomodate the whole room.

Sleep - Each person gets two pillows, hotel quality beds pillows and blankets.

Breakfast - Tasty breakfast, you can even have it delivered to your room.

Shower - Hot shower working very well.

Wifi - Steady internet connection in the lobby and inside the room.

TV - Flat screen TVs with clear cable service.

Location - 1 min walk to beachfront. Just go through Obama Grill.

Staff - Very accomodating and always greets us with a smile. They weren't complaining or frowning even though we were asking a little bit too much sometimes.

Housekeeping - they always ask if we wanted housekeeping. they even surprised us by making up our room while we were having breakfast, by the time we went back to our room everything was fixed and the floors was clean.

CONS:
Comfort Room - Their twin loft room which is good for 4-6 pax has only one comfort room. Much better there was two.

Added Discount - They didn't informed us that if you checked in here at their hotel that you can get a 10% discount when you dine in Obama Grill. We just knew that on our last day.

Swimming Pool - They have no pool, but you can always swim in the beach :) (that's why you're in boracay in the first place, it's for the beach and not for the pool)

OVERALL: VERY MUCH SATISFIED WITH THIS HOTEL. Won't be thinking twice staying at this hotel again. Looking forward to our next stay here!
