This restaurant is perhaps more well-known as a bar, and indeed the bar area is what you see on arrival. Situated a little way from the bright lights and girlie bars of Sabang, which makes it somewhat quieter. Behind the bar there are a small number of tables, probably about 20 or 25 covers. The main chef (I think called Mannie) has apparently had a small stroke and is pretty elderly, although ably assisted by some younger staff. But obviously he can cook, and I was told he has worked in a number of very high class establishments in the Far East region. The menu is a fairly eclectic mix of Eastern and Western-style food. A small group of us turned up to eat on their 'Thai specials' night. We had delicious home-made spring rolls and salad at first, then I had Thai stir-fried fish, which was served on a sizzling plate - really good selection of seafood, fish, shellfish and some other crustaceans. Excellent. The others had Thai green curry which was pronounced delicious. And not expensive in comparison to other eateries in the area.
