“Mixed mystical legends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

I wonder what the thinking minds of architects who made this building.
It was this building as a place to escape the Sultan, in the event of war.
In addition to the long hallways and stuffy, there is also a mosque in it.
And supposedly the underground passageway reaches the southern coast of Java.
But as far as I can see, the building is an achievement of the Java community.
Unfortunately, the building is not so well preserved. Many houses are growing around it, just destroy this historical site.
Who knows how to appreciate the heritage.

--the guide explain quite clear regarding the structure of this mosque, and there are only one main gate to exit and enter, which represet that the human was create by God and will return to God. 5 stairs represent 5 pillars in Islamic religious.the sumur-well are located in the middle of building, and the stairs connected to upper floor.

--4 windows at second floor, represent the wind direction.

--at the entranve there are donation box.
