Ah, a garden in the city! Situated on the second floor right next to malioboro mall. This restaurant actually scores for it's ambient and location.
However the food is rather disappointing. We had some local delights like satay which were ok. But dishes like mix vegetables and tomyam soup has a lot of room for improvement! (ok, I know, who come to Indonesia for tomyam right? haha!)
The pricing is on quite reasonable and it is really nice sitting on the second floor watching the busy Malioboro street with becak and horse rides around. That said, finding a decent place to have a cold beer is not so easy here. So can't ask for much.
For food like Gudeg, probably those small shops along the streets serve nicer, just have to get use to sitting on the floor instead.
