“Great food and value. Always runs out though...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2012

The food here is rally good, really consistent and REALLY good value.

The menu is short and never changes: the Pucuk Labu (cooked with rice wine) is the best vegetable I have ever eaten anywhere in the world, period. But it ALWAYS runs out by 7.30! The fish and chicken is delicious and the Karadok is fab...if it doesn't run out!

The restaurant has a loyal clientele of enthusiastic local eaters (foreigners are rare) who put up with the consistent and chaotic disorganization because what you eat (if it hasn't run out) is so, so very good.

Has a sister branch in Pecenongan in the centre

“The Best Sundanese Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2012

Simply said, great food and good value for money =)

I am a huge fan of this restaurant. The taste of the dishes are superb and well-balanced, no wonder that they managed to become the reigning champion of West Javanese cuisine competition in Indonesia. My personal favorites are: crispy fried gurame (a variety of carp fish, if I'm not mistaken), gurame or nila soup, grilled gurame, pecel lele (catfish), fried tofu, grilled/fried chicken and tumis kangkung. One more thing that made IBC the best amongst others are the sambals or chili sauces. Their sambal mentah and sambal kecap are simply divine, a must try, even for those who doesn't like spicy foods.
