Ate here during the lebaran holidays - we ordered one of the big platters (fish, mussels, king prawns, fries etc.etc) It was truly awful; everything was horribly overcooked and rubbery. Even the bread was stale and inedible. Only the salad was OK. We complained to the waiter and got the standard Indonesian response of embarrased, awkward, smiling apology ('ma'af, pak, ma'af') but no actual solution - we asked to speak to the manager who quickly arrived at our table - we explained why we were dissatisfied - his response was basically, well it's the holidays so most of our usual kitchen staff are away! Er, OK, well why open your restaurant then?? Once he realised we weren't going to be fobbed off with lame excuses he quickly offered a 50% discount on the bill. Would not recommend this place at all and definitely wouldn't return.
