We have travelled the world over including Turkey and Turquaz served us one of the finest dinners we have ever had. We ordered a tablefull of dishes to share. Everyone agreed; there wasn't one dish that disappointed us. The decor is simple, but beautiful. You can go casual or get dressed up depending on how you feel. Service is much better than most restaurants in Indonesia. Attentiveness to patrons is lacking in many, many service industries in Indonesia. Quick service is just one of the growing pains for business in Indonesia. The menu is a bit pricey, but pretty much in line with many other Jakarta restaurants. Jakarta is an expensive city. You are not going to find cheap unless you are Indonesian and going to restaurants in your own neighborhood. It is definitely a restaurant you save for a special occasion. They do not serve wine, but you can bring your own for a corkage fee which is typical all over Jakarta. Inquire about the fee prior to bringing your own wine. It was a delightful experience.
