I was very happy to have the great services from well trained staff and most of facilties are well provided for the guest. The location is very ideal for business trip in Jakarta, right in the centre of Jakarta business district. I must stay again in Le Meridin Jakarta for my next business trip.

The complete opposite of the Intercontinental I visited a few days before, the Hotel is older; rooms are a little bit weird with cheap furniture and decoration. Staff is friendly but very slow, check in took ages. It is also much cheaper but it is still a Le Meridien.
Rooms are quiet, not very big but not small either, just good enough, and it is quiet…

On the other side, they have plenty of restaurants, very good restaurants, like the Lebanese or the Japanese. The Bar Lounge has a wonderful Live Band, Canadian Group called the Finesse, I have seen and heard so many Bands in Asia that I can really recommend this one. The location is also closer to shopping malls even though you still have to take a Taxi to go anywhere (Jakarta is not very safe for walking anyway).

If you are in Jakarta for Holidays or a short business trip, it is a good pick up.

Arriving into Jakarta airport and the city is itself an experiance, but the hotel gives a completely different image. This hotel is very convinently located in the business district and has some nice shops near the hotel, The Plaza Indonasia.
The rooms were nice and spacious with a large bathtub in the bathroom.
Buffet breakfast was very nice, had good choice of all cusines, Japanese, Indonasean, Continental, French, English breakfast. Various choice of fresh juices, etc

The hotel is located in the center of the finance district close to many companies, but for allthing a Taxi is required. For Platinum members there is always a upgrade in the Junior suita available and in the club lounge the food/snacks is very good, also the service at breakfast time. The whole stuff is very friendly and very kindfull. The rroms are a little bit older standard, but very clean and also with Flatscreen TV and DVD.
The pricing is a little more moderate than other 5 star hotels and if i am in Jakarta, i will always stay there, as even in the 3 in 1 street located have easy access from a side road.
