“AMAZING EXPERIENCE !!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

Wow, Wow, Wow. What an amazing day we had at Kuda P Stables. We went for a long ride through the rice fields, the village, and then down to the beach, every moment was spectacular. Fran the owner is such a welcoming lady, knows what she is talking about and has so much love for her horses, they are in great condition and are fantastic to handle. A big thank you to Fran and all staff on such a fantastic Job, will definitely be returning next year !! A MUST DO !!!

“Lovely ride along the rice fields and beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

A wonderful experience!

We first met the owner, Fran, after several prompt email correspondences. We were even offered a discount because we drove our rental car to the location. As we arrived early, the guides and horses weren't ready yet. Thus, Fran told us to take a seat and held a conversation with us. When she knew that we didn't have a change of attire, she offered us some riding trousers, along with 2 pairs of socks and boots in case we got wet.

We took the longest ride (2 hours) and rode across peaceful rice fields, villages, and Echo Beach. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle in Denpasar and Kuta. If you would like to be away from the crowds and see the quieter side of Bali, go for this.

The horses were obedient and funny as they kept trying to eat the greens growing along the sidewalks. The guides we had were friendly and knowledgeable. One of the guides took photos of us for free (he was even iphone compatible).

If it's your first time riding, be prepared to experience some aches at your bum after the ride.

P.S. The free Goreng Pisang (fried banana fritters) were awesome!

“Horse riding in Canggu”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

A great way to spend your morning in Bali! Choose between a 1-hour ride which covers the nearby village & paddy fields, or the 2-hour ride which includes a stretch of Canggu beach as well (recommended). Riders are matched to the size of their horse, and each rider is accompanied by a guide who will also be on horseback. We lucked out with a guide who spoke near-perfect English but we were informed that unfortunately, that may not be the case for all the guides. Prior horse riding experience is not mandatory although riders will be expected to negotiate a harrowing stretch of road alongside busy traffic.

Do note that there is a 100kg weight limit for the rider.

What a wonderful place, with such beautiful horses. Truly a credit to their owner Fran. Thanks for the great experience. The ride through the rice fields was spectacular. We will be back for the beach ride next time. The kids had a great time and felt at ease on the horses.

“The best way to visit "the fields of gold"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

Thank you Frances and team. This was a perfect way to see the rice fields and the beach. Frances and her staff were great and their horeses are in great condition. Kuda P is great for novices or experienced riders alike. Horses are well matched to the skills of the rider. A wonderful ride and the banana fritters on return were bonus! The service and smiles were awesome. Many thanks also for my "Kuda P Jodphurs/Gardening pants". Every time I get out in the garden I will be reminded of my time with the folks at Kuda P.
