“Second time back, just as good!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2013

What can I say. A year later we visited Tommy's Cafe, as soon as my daughter and I walked through the door, we were greeted by FIRST name by the staff. Amazing service once again and Nuyung and Titi make beautiful coffee, just like the coffee back at home.

“Cheap and delicious.”

This is absolutely delicious. Best toasted ham and cheese sandwich I've had! Very cheap, around $3.50 for a soft drink and toastie. Also, iced milo is highest recommended!

“The BESTEST iced coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Tommy's Cafe in Rum Jungle Road is always on our list of places to MUST visit......when you have had enough of eating the local fare, head to Tommy's for for their "famous" corned beef and salad roll, and wash it down with the equally " famous" iced coffee....we have been going there for many years, and while it is not an "all bright and shiney wannta be western establishment"....the food is excellent ...haven't really got passed the corned beef and salad roll, but they do do a VERY passable Ploughman's Lunch, and have a great homemade Caramel Slice...everything else we have seem served looks great, and have ever only seen EMPTY plates left.
On many occasions we have just detoured there for an Iced Coffee ( not a glass of ice chunks with a bit of coffee poured over it..yuk), which is almost like a Coffee Slushy ( nearly gives you a "brain freeze"..lol)....all for ( just gone up last trip) 15k Rupiah..about a third charged by the "trendy" westernized new establishments........
Will be one of our first stops again in May.....an icy cold towel and a welcome/ welcome back smile , AND that wonderful ICED COFFEE hit..yum
