“Great atmosphere, location and solid sushi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2013

The custom cocktails were the super-stars of the evening - but all of the food we ordered was solid. Feel free to venture away from the sushi and explore the grilled and other items - all were good and actually the sushi (and related dishes) were the weakest though not bad at all.

Service was very good.

Location to other places to go before or after are a plus.

“Great amazing food with unlimited champagne and alcohol for great price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

Unique venue in the Centre of Hong Kong. The scenery exquisite and the table really unique. I was with a group of 6 people's and we were in a private room. We had our own waiter who was very attentive to any of our needs. The food was amazing, I would recommend the Japanese raw eggs, the grill chicken, the lamb and the beef.

It was very good value, we paid in total 700HK$. Considering for the level of quality of the food and venue it is cheap.

I would not recommend to seat outside as there is always road or building works in the surrounding.

“Sunday Brunch is a MUST!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

My husband and i had brunch at Zuma’s after a glowing recommendation from a friend.
Our friend had recommended that we book ahead, however we had forgotten to do that before we arrived in Hong Kong. I called on the Friday night to see if i could land a booking for that Sunday and i was given a stiff and prompt response that they were fully booked (i doubt that she even checked for availability). The following day i decided to call again to possibly make a booking for just lunch on the Monday or the Tuesday and when i spoke to the gentleman on the line, he said if you are free on Sunday we have availability for Sunday brunch on the terrace...i quickly responded with a yes and our booking was made. I am not sure why this offer was not made the first time i had called??!! Especially since i asked for Sunday brunch specifically!!??

Booking drama’s aside Zuma is a must for brunch. For an extra HK$100 per person you can have all the Vueve, Sake, Bellini, etc that you can drink. This is outstanding value since the night before i paid HK$120 for one glass of Vueve in our hotel lobby bar.
The food was excellent. The buffet portion had an excellent selection of hot and cold Japanese food. Mains were small, but adequate given you fill up on the buffet and dessert was still to come.
I thought given the high standard of food we had already received that Zuma’s would fall short on dessert, however dessert was just perfect. It was a wonderful selection of fruit, ice cream, chocolate brownie and jelly...nothing too heavy to finish off the meal. In fact the serve was very substantial for just the two of us.

Small tip, we sat on the terrace and it started to sprinkle a little. Technically we were undercover, however i think had it started to rain we would have gotten quite wet! Also there was allot of noise from the construction from across the road, but fortunately it did not go on for too long.

“Ambiance and food were great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

We had dinner in Zuma with friends. The salmon sashimi and the different kinds of sushi were very good. We also ordered the usual tempura, yakitori, etc. and all were topnotch. The cocktails they offered were unique and yummy. I will definitely go back to try other dishes the next time I am in HK.
