“I'll give it four with a couple of minor reservations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

Hotel is in the Nina Tower, one of the tallest buildings in Honk Kong. The quality and design of this hotel is amazing throughout. Our room on the 70th floor with a harbour view was really classy.
The lobby area is huge to cope with all the guests of this large hotel. Costs are kept down I think by not having porterage, no goods in the mini bar, generally no signing for drinks etc , cash up front for breakfast and dinner. No lounge or bar area. None of this a problem to us. Room price for Hong Kong was very good considering the quality of hotel. BUT at this time there is no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby which has not got a lot of seats. Wired connection in rooms at a cost but I did overhear some people say it was not good. ALSO there are no hair dryers in the swanky bathrooms, quite incredibly. Not only that the tiny dryer we found in the bedroom was not much good for the ladies as there were no sockets near the one and only mirror. Bizarre for such a nice place.
MTR station right outside hotel, about fifteen minutes to Central.

Room Tip: Rooms higher than the 41st floor require a transfer to another lift. Lifts are quick and frequent.

Dear friends,

Don't book this hotel in advance. The price is much higher than you book just one day before your arrival. I have booked through agoda one month before. Then I find out the price is ridiculous because if you book this hotel just before your arrival, the price is really cheaper than the advanced booking. I wrote to Agoda and asked why. No reply. It makes me feel being cheated.

The rooms were great for the price, considering it's Hong Kong. We had a huge room with a wonderful view. Service was average, and hotel lobby was full of bus loads of tourists nearly everyday. Lots of shops and malls nearby so lots of food options. It's pretty near to Disneyland via the MTR, but otherwise, getting to all other areas is a bit of a hassle. If you have time and don't mind the traveling up and down, pick this hotel. Otherwise, you'd probably get a less fancy hotel in the heart of town half the room size for this price.

Stayed here as I got a rather cheap rate off another website. Travelled from here to Disneyland which isn't too far away.
The hotel lobby is a busy hive of activity at practically all hours of the day. People seem to just sit in the lobby for hours on end.
Lots of shops and malls are connected to the hotel so quite accessible.
Stayed up on the 47th floor, and the view was amazing.
Negative for me is that this hotel is quite far off from central HK, so if you're planning to visit more locations in HK I wouldn't recommend this place simply because you would be spending a lot of time traveling.

Fair price tariff, good value for money.
I stayed in this hotel a few times alrady, no complaint. Lots of mainland visitors stayed in this hotel and lobby sometimes very noisy.
The hotel is not located in central, but you can easily find cheap eats nearyby.
There's a underground train station nearby, about 10 minutes by walk-I will say the location is very convenient.
The only thing that I was not 100% satisified was I found a used condom in the room.
Overall, it's good and recommend.

Room Tip: Not worth to pay extra money for higher levels.

The hotel lobby is packed with large noisy tour groups. The rooms do not have wifi. The room is large but poorly lit and does not feel comfortable. The Flat screen TV is large but of poor quality from a brand that you will unlike see outside of China. The standard bath toiletries are of low quality, so if you do have to stay here do remember to pack full toiletries bag.

We were fortunate to call L’hotel Nina home for a time several weeks ago. Yes, there were large numbers of people milling about in the lobby occasionally, but the view from the 80th floor windows of our exceptionally clean and spacious, well decorated room was spectacular. The elevator whisking us to that level accomplished it’s task in a mere 45 seconds. We had never stayed in a hotel 80 stories above ground level, so this was quite a new experience for us. We live in California and the prospect of earthquakes is never too far away, and usually pops into consciousness on a frequent schedule! Luckily we were unaware of any earthquakes in Hong Kong during the recent past so these nagging thoughts were quickly repressed.

The hotel is a newer one and is conveniently located just several minutes from the Hong Kong Subway. Although it is located some distance from the downtown area, there are numerous facilities such as restaurants, shops, and grocery stores within easy walking distance. If one needs to travel further afield, a shuttle is available or one can take a cab, which tends to be somewhat expensive in Hong Kong unless one shares the cost with friends.

There was a large indoor/outdoor pool available for our use on the second floor and the setting was very pleasant. Both sunny and shady portions were evident throughout the day and we used both.

An excellent western style breakfast was provided every morning and we enjoyed having a leisurely breakfast with friends in the local dining room each day.

Wifi was available in the lobby and we found it easily accessible and convenient.
