The Hong Kong Sevens is a weekend everyone should do once in their life. It is a weekend of Sevens Rugby which is short, sharp and very exciting. Breaks between games mean music and crowd participation.
- It is imperative to get dress-up organised Thusday or Friday before heading to the Stadium, the crazier, the better!
- tickets are very hard to get, if you know people in HK or don't mind paying the travel agents alot of money for them, it is definetely something to do in March every year.
- You must sit in the South Stand for the real party. It is boozy, messy and many people there dressed up not really watching the rugby but enjoying themselves.
- The fondest memories I have of the sevens was in the south stand, seeing someone chugging a funnel of beer while nearby had someone having his head shaved. All the while people standing around with beer and cheering on.
