The Lippo Centre is a very interesting building to look at from up close. It is fun to imagine how the architects constructed its two towers, which seem to interweave when seen from different perspectives around the city. Interesting this building is sometimes referred to as the Koala tree (looks a bit like Koala's climbing trees).
You can view the Lippo Centre towers best from Hong Kong Park where there are completely unobstructed views of the towers. Also, its nice to see these towers up close, just outside the Admiralty MTR station on Queensway Road so you can gain better perspective for how the weave design is supposed to flow. You can also view it from across the Harbour in Kowloon. Unfortunately, its difficult to appreciate the building design from farther away, making the Lippo Centre less ideal to view from the TST Promenade.
We recommend trying to spot this building among other great skyscrapers when you are viewing the Hong Kong skyline from the Avenue of Stars. However, do try to make time to stop and look at the Lippo Centre when you are in Hong Kong Island, up close and personal. Its an interesting sight.
