“Just OK!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

A walk along the TST promenade is just ok as there is the avenue of the stars if you are interested in a picture with bronze statues... possibly the picture with Bruce Lee could be a nice shot :) The pluses is that it's a nice walk and you get to enjoy the views of Victoria Harbor and the HK Skyline!

Overall though, I'd say it was over rated so if you have more then 3-4 days in HK then worth a trip but if you are short on time there are better options to see!

“A Good Place to Spend an Evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

Me and my wife visited the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade in the late afternoon on 9th Dec 2012. We took the train from the MTR Tsuen Wan Station (Red Line) to the MTR Tsim Sha Tsui Station and followed the directional signage on foot for a short distance before arriving at the Avenue of Stars portion of the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade.

The sea breeze from the waterfront was very refreshing at first but it soon became too cold for comfort if you are without a jacket. The Avenue of Stars is a very popular place with tourists and many were jousting for a spot to have their photographs taken. The sunset view from the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade across the Victoria Harbour in the evening is simply captivating.

From the Avenue of Stars we took a slow walk towards the Clock Tower which was the recommended venue to watch the Symphony of Lights Show. Along the way, we came across many budding artists displaying their wares for sale along the Promenade and we were also entertained by a Live Band Performance at Cultural Centre while waiting for the Symphony of Lights Show scheduled at 8.00pm. During the Multimedia Light Show, Victoria Harbour was a dazzling sight with Lasers Beams and Searchlights synchronized to the sound of music and there were also participation from the Sail Boats and Ferries at the Waterfront. The light show is very entertaining and we enjoyed it very much.

“Great Place for Walk”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Being a Los Angeles native, I'm pretty used to seeing the lame Hollywood "Walk of Fame". The Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is similar to the Walk of Fame in that its an area with names and hand prints of famous people along the promenade; but the main difference here is the great view of the Hong Kong skyline.

I had the privilege of coming here on a nice summer evening. Although there really isn't much to do here, you do get a few picture opportunities with things such as the Bruce Lee statue, and some movie director props. Aside from that, I guess its fun to see which Chinese stars you can recognize.

Along the promenade there are little booths where people take pics for you (for money...) and a few gift shops and a Starbucks. We were in the mood for a nice relaxing time being our last night in Hong Kong, so we decided to walk along the promenade. We ended up grabbing a seat at Starbucks and sat there for a few hours just watching the sunset.

If you have no interest in Chinese pop culture, I'm not really sure how much fun you'll have here. But nonetheless, its a great spot for a walk, especially if you're coming with with a significant other. The walk along the harbor is very scenic and can be quite romantic.

“Come here for Hong Kong Skyline at Night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

This is the best place to enjoy the Hong Kong Skyline at night! Bring a tripod to get good pictures of the brightly lit buildings across the harbor! Of course, it's also a romantic place for a date.
