“Great place to stay in Hong Kong”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

Nice room, consistantly decorated, tv screen divides the room in two parts: sitting area and bedroom. Good location with direct mall access. Lunch at Amber by Richard Ekkebus was out if this world, delicious food, great service! Sweet touch was that they offered to bring me magazines because I was alone..

I stayed at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental for 5 nights on a business trip and enjoyed every moment. Everything you would expect from a five star hotel - first class service, excellent location and a clean, spacious and well furnished room. My Superior room was spacious with a sofa and TV area, working desk with all the necessary amenities, separate walk-in shower, circular sunken bath, an incredibly comfortable king-size bed... and I could go on! The breakfast buffet in the MO Bar each morning was one of the best I've come across - there is something for everyone. The spa is superb too. During my entire stay I used the complimentary access to the spa (vitality pool, steam rooms, experience showers and has separate relaxation lounges for men and women). This was a great way to unwind after a busy day.

As well as the above, the most memorable part of this stay was the impeccable service experienced throughout - from the doormen, front desk, room service, spa, restaurants and many more. They are a real asset to the Mandarin Oriental Group.

Can't wait to return.

I enjoyed very much of my stay here for 5 days, the room is spacious, clean and modern. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. It's only 5 mins walk to lan kwai fong where got a lot of bars and restaurants. I will visit again for sure.

We have stayed at 3 hotels at different times of this trip to Hong Kong. The Upper house, Mandarin Oriental, and the Landmark Mandarin Oriental.
The Landmark Mandarin Oriental has the best location for shopping. Everything was good. The suites were good. Excellent view. Good food. Good location. Good service.

I've been to Hong Kong a couple of time but had never stayed at the MO. Thus, like all business travellers I was a bit skeptical to venture outside my tried and tested zone when my current organisation booked me here.
Now after having enjoyed the MO hospitality for 8 days, I don't think I'd look at any other hotel! From day one when I checked into the hotel, I was impressed by how friendly it was to my needs and what stood out the most was the attention to detail by the staff. It felt as if I've stayed here many times before as everyone knew me by name and learnt what my schedule was or how I liked to keep things in the room! This is a clincher because in most places that I have stayed before, there are times that I end up answering questions on my preferences.

I recommend this hotel to anyone who visits HK on business and has a tight schedule. Of course, the fact that this is on the queen's road and perhaps has the plushest rooms in HK only adds to its appeal.

Thank you MO team, you made my trip memorable in more ways than one.

This hotel is outstanding on every level. I have stayed in 3 different room types so far, and I actually really like the typical room, eventhough i have also stayed in the largest suite. It is so well appointed and lovely, the bathroom is awesome. It is fresh, clean and luxurious. The staff treats you like royalty during your entire stay. I took a yoga class in the spa and it was excellent. Many locals actually use the gym, I was the only guest in the class on a week night and teh teacher made a point to have everyone greet me! It's location cannot be beat, in the heart of Central. Sure, its also really expensive, but if you have the opportunity and the funds, go for it!

The Landmark Hotel is a Mandarin Oriental located in the Landmark Building, where scores of global luxury brands are arrayed in a well-designed vertical mall, complete with casually elegant dining opportunities.

The hotel is located in Central, in the middle of everything, which made getting around very easy. The lobby is adjacent to the shopping entrance, but grand and warmly receptive. Staff greeted us at the car and whisked away our bags, while someone else escorted us to check-in, which was efficient and friendly. It took only a few minutes from curbside to our room.

We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was practically a suite, with a comfortable seating area with an enclosed snack and drink bar, a desk, a spacious bedroom with a walk in closet and a truly seductive bathroom, complete with a very large round tub, a walk in closet and double sinks. As much as I wanted to see Hong Kong, I could have stayed in all day!

Design is contemporary -- clean lines, muted colors, natural stone bath fixtures. The bath/personal care amenities were lovely - high quality, lightly scented and gently on the skin. The bathrobes were capacious and the slippers were actually comfortable. Towels could have wrapped around two people easily...very indulgent!

The in-room bar was simply stocked and unlike most hotels these days, wasn't electronic, so you could actually touch things without having them appear on your bill. I felt more like a "guest" than a "customer." (Nice.)

The wifi was included in our room rate, and an IT specialist appeared right after check in and connected two iPads and two phones without hesitation or difficulty -- or additional charges.

Room service was prompt and beautifully presented. The concierge arranged our hotel transport, which was smooth and quite comfortable. (Cost: $130) In fact, all service was well done, humble without being smarmy. Very gracious!

The room rate was very reasonable for the caliber of the hotel and the service at HK$4,700/night (US$590).

My only (small) complaint was that the pillows were foam and the bed a little too firm. Feather pillows, please!

Room Tip: The second floor is the shopping level for those interested in shopping.
