“Nice view of the harbour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

Good location to stay for a few days to visit HKG. Great value for the money! Even breakfast is included! The hotel reminds me a little bit to NY - quite small rooms, especially the washroom is pretty small. Nevertheless I would recommend it to others. A metro station is located within 2 minutes walking distance.

We stayed here in October and were really impressed by the service and quality of Hotel Panorama. So close to both Nathan Street and the harbour, the rooms were compact but clean and well organised. We were upgraded to the 36th floor, it is definitely worth spending the little bit extra for great views. The in house buffet is fantastic value for money and the in house restaurant has a nice atmosphere and delightful food. The odd smell in the foyer is just one of the cheese dishes served at the buffet. I would highly recommend staying at the Hotel Panorama by Rhombus.

Room Tip: Stay above the 18th floor, get as high as you can for the best views :)

We stayed 7 nights with our 7yo son and loved the Panorama. Comfortable beds, very clean roms - staff were fabulous - very helpful and friendly. They were happy to share their local knowledge with us and advised the best routes for destinations. It was only a 5 minute walk to TST MTR and TST esplanade. You really are at the centre of things here. There's a good laundry in the immediate vicinity too. Breakfast was plentiful and we enjoyed the canapes and wine/cocktails and the company of other guests in the executive lounge each evening. We went on to stay at the Disneyland Hotel for 3 nights which was magical for our son but my partner and I missed the Panorama! TIP: stay in a harbourview or executive harbourview room...well worth the extra outlay. Great harbour views and little extra's like canapes/drinks, free wi-fi etc.

Room Tip: Stay in a harbourview or executive harbourview room for great views and included extras.

We stayed here for 2 nights on route from Sydney back to the UK. The room was a good size, well planned out and clean, and absolutely everything was to hand. The beds (twins) were very comfortable, and the shower great. We were on the 9th floor, which had a distant view of HongKong over the harbour and overlooked a rather shabby block of flats. However, this did not bother us as we were not in the room very much, and the views from the breakfast room on floor 38 and the view from the top floor, 40, were outstanding. The air conditioning could be controlled depending on how cool you liked it, and the clock at the side of the bed was analogue and big enough to see without glasses!
The service here is very good, a courteous young man checked us in at 1am in the morning, and the staff in the restaurant were very attentive, and on the day we left, our luggage was looked after until we left in the evening.
This hotel is very convenient for seeing the sights, only minutes from the harbour side and the Star Ferry to visit the Peak on the other side. At 8pm every night there is a display of lights and lasers with music over the harbour, which is worth going to watch. Thousands congregate at the quayside.
If you have half a day, try a relaxing ramble round Kowloon Park. There is a heritage centre there, and gardens and an aviary.
Owing to our plane being late we missed our bus to the hotel, but no worries, there are millions of taxis waiting to take you, and for the same price as the bus.

Room Tip: If I was staying some time, I would like a room higher up, but the lower rooms are fine.

We stayed at the Hotel Panorama by Rhombus on a stop over on our way to New Zealand. We wanted a special hotel to celebrate the start of our year long planned adventure. The location of the hotel was great and we had paid that bit extra to get a Executive Club Harbour View room and it was worth it. The room, service from the dedicated team for the Executive Club, the Concierge team who looked after the bags when we arrived and departed was excellent. The view from the room was amazing (both from the bedroom and in the bath!) we loved our short stay. The only part of the hotel that let down everything else was the breakfast. We arrived 45mins before the closing time of the service and almost everything in the buffet was gone and what was left in the trays was not that appetising. The choices were very limited and disappointing. I was expecting things be to be refreshed, but nothing was added. Shame really because the view from the restaurant was amazing and a better service and choice for breakfast was missing. We enjoyed our stay, it was great apart from the disappointing breakfast.

Room Tip: Worth paying the extra for Executive Club Harbour View

This hotel is located in corner of Tsim Sha Tsui. So it is rather convenient. The avenue of stars, harbour are all stone throw away. Nearby there are a lot of local cafes and snack bars for cheap dim sum and breakfast. I had my breakfast nearby and did not have the hotel breakfast. What really caught my attention is that we are so close to the magnificent view of Hong Kong Island across the sea, yet we are not exhorbitantly charged.

The hotel is next to Tsim Sha Tsui East station, not the main line where u can take to Mongkok, etc. However, it is a 3 min walk to Tsim Sha Tsui main station, which is the main line.

The rooms are quite ok for my liking, not too small, 2 double size beds in the room. Clean, new and comfortable. I like their room slippers A LOT. Very comfortable and spongy. When you are here, dont forget to take a trip up to the 40th storey for a free view of the city. Simply spectacular.

I will stay here again for the convenience and price.
