Very easy to arrive here, catch bus no.12 from the airport, and hotel is right at corner.
Only 500 Metrers to MRT
room is quite dated, but spacious.
There're local store and restuatrant nearby, don't miss conjee

Room Tip: request for high floor.

First the room key didn't work and I had to go twice to the Reception and it still didn't work. Only after 30 minutes a person came and open it with a Master key. Room was very small and it felt like staying in a small shoe box. False ceiling in room was open in some parts and you were able to see through. Opening was big enough for insects and mice to come in. No complimentary water was given. First Hotel where I had that. The Breakfast room was very small and getting a table was difficult. Avoid this place if you can because there are much better options available in the surrounding areas.

Room Tip: Avoid any room with 01 at the end. Best is not to go there at all.

The Ramada is located away from the Central area and many other hotels well along Des Voeux Rd West.
The area is Honk Kong local mostly with some great dining within a short walk. The MTR is close by.
This is mainly a tourist Hotel with large groups of folk moving through the smallish lobby at times. Get a suite upgrade if here on business as the rates are reasonable in comparison to centrally located hotels.
The breakfast space is located poorly, is hard to find and probably not worth the effort, as is the exercise room. No drama as you have a huge variety of options just around the corner. If you need exercise the Peak is a testing 8k return walk straight up the hill in the morning.
Overall a clean quiet out of the way option when in Hong Kong.
I'll be back.

we stayed here for 4 nights while in Hong Kong - it was located just 2 blocks walking distance from the subway, which got us everywhere we needed to go. The room was a good size, but we had to ask for pillow top on the beds, as they were pretty hard without. Our room was on the 18th floor, so some mornings, the hot water took awhile to get to us. The people working the front desk and bell were very helpful when we asked questions, and the price was good for the area.

Room Tip: the rooms were very quiet - we never heard any other guests

The hotel is about a few minutes walk from the subway stations. Quick check in and out. Staff was efficient however the room and bathrooms look old and dirty. The beds are very hard and not comfortable. It would be a good option for budgeted travelers.

The Ramada Hong Kong feels like a median 3-star Hong Kong hotel with the brand slapped on it: nothing stood out. Depending on how much you paid for your room, it can be hit or miss in terms of value.

Front desk reception was efficient for an evening check-in. Location, while on Hong Kong island, is still a distance from many landmarks: make sure you double-check distances if you intend on staying on this property for longer stays.

I was here for one night on one of the top floor's "oceanview suite"; there is not much of a view because the Marriott across the street blocks most of the view from the harbour. Windows were also a bit dirty on the outside. The suite itself was decent; two TVs, a couch, work desk and queen size bed. For Hong Kong, there was plenty of space.

However, the biggest downfall of the room was the showers. It was an enclosed stall shower, Russian-style, that would steam up with no ventilation. You would feel like you were taking a shower in a portable sauna capsule. That's a real shame, given how spacious the bathroom was and they did not put the time into installing a proper shower or bathtub.

Wi-fi was reliable, though power outlets were hard to find. One of the lamps in my room wasn't working, so the room remained quite dark.

Another huge drawback to the hotel design was the shared entrance into my suite with another room, meaning I had to go through two doors. That also meant significant noise: people in the other suite arriving/leaving through the shared entrance, in addition to the thin walls where you could hear the other guests.

It was an overall very average stay. The hotel has significant flaws but also offered very attractive prices for Hong Kong when I booked.

Room Tip: Don't bother with the harbour views

1. Location: Location is okay, but certainly not the best. Ramada offers shuttles to/from AEL at Central Sta. does help, but the fact that the hotel is 5+ min walking away from the new Sai Ying Pun or Hong Kong U MTR Station is difficult for many people. Yes you can take the Tramways, but unless you are very familiar in "how to roll in HK".

2. Night: nothing. Not the hotel's fault, but the location isn't good for night life animals. Only 7-11s are running after 11. Very quiet on Des Voeux Road after 11.

3. Rooms: Go for higher price room, otherwise the normal room will make guests feel like squeezing in a box.

4. Shower room: Okay, nothing really fancy.

5. Pluses: Price (good for travelers who stay only 1, max 2 nights), quietness, free shuttle to AEL Central sta., dining at 3F

6. Minues: Distance to MTR, location, lobby atmosphere, shower room.
