“View, Location, Service are excelent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2011

We had a room on the 20th floor, of the hotel's 45 - the view of Victoria Harbour and Tsim Sha Tsui was incredible - especially watching the junks sailing by.
The hotel has an amazing pool and the service is excellent. We arrived at the pool at night, about 20 minutes before closing – and still were accompanied by a valet who gave provided us with towels, a bathing robe, and a glass of water with lemon.
The pool and Jacuzzi are overlooking the harbor, from the hotel's 5th floor. The spa has a bubbles pool, and a dry and wet sauna, and nice showers with shampoo, soap, and many aftershaves.
The hotel takes care of the little details – on a rainy day umbrellas were placed in the room, which also has an espresso machine , ice and various mugs and glasses.
The spacious bathroom had two sinks, a bathtub (with television) and a shower.
I enjoyed the high tea served at the executive lounge which had scones, choices of tea, cucumber sandwiches and many types of petti-fours. The executive lounge on the 45th floor should have had a great view if not for the clouds and mist that covered the city throughout our visit.
The room service was quite expensive; however the prices of the dishes were exactly the same as the lobby restaurant.

Room Tip: Choose a room faceing Victoria Harbour

Great place for business travel. Given the hotel is adjacent to IFC Mall, it enables a quick pop in and out of shops after meetings at 7pm. Easy walk to the mid-levels for great food / bars. The pillows are the best I've ever tried in any hotel I've been to, absolutely guaranteeing your sleep. Been here thrice and never been disappointed. The third time I came I realized they added a Nespresso coffee machine, nice touch for those needing a good (non-sachet) cup of coffee before a morning meeting. In all, perfect and worthy of the price they charge.

Trust me when I say that I will find faults with anything, this hotel is virtually flawless. You can forget the rest of the hotels in HK, this place is the bomb and I would give it six stars if I could.

The whole design / colour scheme / lighting of the public areas, rooms, lobby, restaurants and pool area just reeks of class, even down to the double height elevators. This place leaves the rest for dead - there is absolutely no comparison. I've never stayed at a better five star hotel on this planet, and I've been to many.

The location is superb, right opposite the star ferry and the views of the harbour are even better. The service is amazing and you are addressed by name whenever possible. There are so many staff, everywhere! Out the front, in the lobby, at the reception desk, on the concierge desk, at the pool, at the spa...you never need to open your own door or ever wait for service.

The restaurants are brilliant from the casual but very classy lounge off the lobby to the Lung King Keen with it's amazing cuisine. I didn't try Caprice but took a look in on the last night and wow...I've never seen a classier place ever. I regret not eating there.

The pool area is another class act with amazing views and at night it is beautifully lit. The spa area has a vitality pool, steam room, sauna etc. The spa treatment was incredibly professional. The gym has more than one could ever want.

The room was beautiful and has everything one could want (except perhaps a walk in robe) The bathroom was lovely.

Flaws??

No Walk in robe (not sure if it was because we had a standard room only), the twin beds were a little narrow and the bath in the bathroom was also a little short for taller people like myself. There is no hotel car foe complimentary short trips but as taxis are cheap and plentiful it's probably not necessary.

Many say the MO id the best in HK. I had a meal at their Cantonese restaurant and while good, was not in the same league as Lung King Heen. Being an older property the MO also has a much smaller and darker lobby and lots of red furniture, nice but nothing like the clean lines and natural light of the much newer FS, it really leaves the MO in it's wake - no comparison.

The Four Seasons is not only the best hotel I have stayed at in Hong Kong, but one of the best in the world. I have stayed here multiple times and have never been disappointed.

The collection service they offer at the airport is second to none. They meet you at the gate and drive you in one of those annoying electric cars to customs (useful as it can be a long way in HK). Once through, your bags are there waiting for you (this is HK not London), a short walk to a nice mercedes and you can be in your room within 45 mins of getting off the plane.

The rooms are modern and very tastefully furnished as you would expect, so are the bathrooms. The views from the room are incredible over the bay to Kowloon (if you book harbour view).

The service is impeccable, without being obtrusive (the concierge even managed to get me a visa for China in a few hours as mine had expired).

The swimming pool is simply spectacular. There are two pools, the larger has a vanishing edge and butts up against the wall of the hotel. It has incredible views of the harbour. There is also a large spa pool that is sunken down so that you can sit and look out to the lights.

The location means it is a little bit of a walk, or very short taxi ride, into the nightlife of Central and the hotel itself is the home to the only 3 star Chinese restaurant in the world. there is also a great Japanese restaurant with views of the harbour if you don't want to battle the humidity outside, however if you can make the effort head to Zuma in the Landmark centre.

In short, there is nothing bad I can say about this hotel and an awful lot of good.

I can go everywhere I need to go as a tourist and shopper by foot when I stay at the Four Seasons Hotel IFC. It is so convenient. Some of the best shops are located in the IFC. If you can tear yourself away from Lung King Heen the Four Seasons for the best Chinese food (you have to book in advance); you may venture to the many restaurants at the IFC.

The rooms are good sized and over the years it has housed many visitors and may need a little upgrade soon. For some, the sea view is spectacular. They give you Fiji water and can provide the Nespresso machine in your room if you ask. The bed is comfortable. The shower is great and the bathroom is good sized. Good and fast and free internet service.

The hotel lobby is beautiful and it is alway busy.

It is linked to the IFC, you can walk to Central and Landmark and as far as Yung Kei.

I stay here because it is convenient and like I said, it is second to none for location.

On a recent work trip here I found this hotel to be really one of the best. The rooms are large, there is a great bar downstairs, fantasic restaurant, and the pool for an early morning dip was wonderful.
