I travel a lot with work and typically stay in nice (but sterile) 4 star brand hotels. While perfect for work I no longer enjoy them on holidays. I left it to my wife to book this holiday and what a great experience! The Luxe Manor was pure pleasure! The decor was boutique and had great vibe while still being incredibly relaxing. The quality of the finishes and furniture were that of a luxury hotel. We stayed in a studio room with a king bed. Our friends who live in Hong Kong advised us that this was a large room for Hong Kong. We were comfortable and didn't feel cramped (I am 6'4 193cm). There was a relaxing chair, desk and chair, fridge and 36" TV (framed and doubled as a mirror - quite cool), along with a modern bathroom with good size shower (wall mounted and from the ceiling). The decor is not going to be to everyones taste but i loved it - it was different without being over the top. I used the gym facilities which were very modern and while I was there nobody else came in. We had breakfast every morning which included a vast array of options for varying cultures. We used the bar (lounge) one evening - incredibly relaxing with light jazz in the background. big arm chairs and lounges, soft lighting and easy to talk to our friends and good table service.
The staff added to the luxury feel with their attention to detail and great service. They continually went out of their way to help with directions, taxi's, best local markets and travel advice. They were always friendly at breakfast and one very polite waiter remembered my wife's coffee order after the first morning and continued to bring her coffee every day. This experience made Hong Kong all that much more pleasurable (despite my wife spending far too long in shops...!!). This is a boutique hotel, in a great location, it is clean, quiet, has good amenities, a great breakfast selection and excellent service. All in all I think this is an incredible hotel with incredible staff.

Room Tip: We were on the south side and had a good view. Ask for a king size bed.

Had a fabulous 5 day stay for my birthday. Hotel made sure that my stay was special by arranging beautiful cake and wine bottle. Very thoughtful. Room though small but very well decorated. Each piece kept in the room in beautifully crafted. Will definitely stay again. Thanks.

The hotel is old with kitschy decor. I can't imagine a man appreciating the ambiance at all. It feels like a 17 year old girl decorated an old apartment. This hotel is more like a 3 star than 4 star. I just didn't feel clean there. On the bright side, the hotel staff was very helpful and nice.

For Hong Kong prices, we got this room at a really good price, it was a spacious room, modern and centrally located to restaurants. Free in room wife, free bottled water and the breakfast was great. Customer service average however, but still far better than another hotel in Soho where we stayed for two nights. Would recommend this hotel to others.

This place has great chic decor, awesome customer service and central location. All you can ask for in Hong Kong for less than $200! I appreciate not getting nickel and dimed on amenities; free in-room wifi, free bottled water, free huge breakfast buffet, free turn down service with dessert! Shower has a little knob that you pull and turns on the "torrential downpour mode" that feels amazing.
