There are few western eateries in Ma On Shan and like others this is really a Sino-western cafe which tries to serve up European inspired dishes which have been altered to meet the taste preferences of the locals. We had not eaten a lunch or dinner here in years as we didn't care for food back then. However, they do open quite early in the morning and offer typical light breakfasts, which are more or less the same you can find all over Hong Kong.
Recently took breakfast here, ordered from the set breakfast menu, choosing the scrambled egg, bacon and toast and a cup of coffee (HK$27). Everything tasted as expected (rating 3 of 5). Coffee was weak on its own but this is a norm when eating cheap breakfasts in Hong Kong. Service was friendly and fast and seating area is much more spacious than similar establishments in the more densely populated areas of the city as well as fellow morning restaurants in the Ma On Shan Plaza where you can find Ido Delicious French Food Review.
The restaurant is located next to the second floor exit which leads to a cross bridge down to Ma On Shan (city) Park. It is less than a two minute walk from the Ma On Shan MTR station as well.
