“a surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

We were quite tired from walking and a bit hungry too. So we entered this restaurant. Wow. ordering what they said was the "best seller"-- the croissant burger. It was moist and juicy. the breads served were also delicious. I would recommend and come back just for the bread alone. I dont know eric kayser.. but as per the decorations on the wall... he has a few cookbooks. I want to try their tea sets next time!

“Happy Accident”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Our dinner here was not planned, but it was a happy accident that we stumbled upon it. The first to greet you is the busy boulangerie beside the dining area. The ambience was casual yet chic, welcoming and if you can get the window table you have an awesome view of Hong Kong harbour. We ordered the set dinner, started with the Pan Seared Scallops, it was superb! My main course was the grilled king prawns which was just ok but the risotto that came with it was perfect. But the real treat was the 10 oz. Steak my husband ordered, it was to die for! Perfectly grilled, very flavorful and tender. Service needs improvement though, it took a while for our ordered to be served and a long gap between courses, we had to make several follow ups which is unusual for dining in Hong Kong. Overall though the quality of food more than makes up for it.

“Great afternoon tea!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

This French bakery is amazing. The deserts are simply delicious! We used to like Cova Afternoon Tea, which has been very famous and very expensive in Hong Kong. But now we like this French Cafe more than Cova, because the food at Cova is not so great as before.
