“Great British Boozer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

Popular hangout in the heart of the red light district of Wanchai. Decent selection of beers including Tetleys and Boddingtons on draught last time I was there. Food is good hearty British fare and well worth trying particularly the home made steak and kidney pie. Clientele is mostly western guys getting drunk (prices are comparatively cheap) and Indonesian girls looking to score. Not one for the family but an interesting place to have a beer or meet friends if going out in Wanchai. Note: closest pub to Wanchai MTR. A bit noisy and smokey.

“Very British”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

This is a traditional Pub in the busy part of Wanchai, lots of Europeans hanging outside getting drunk, beer seemed cheap compared to other countries, music was too loud

“Great pub with good beers, atmosphere, people and steak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

This is my favourite pub in hong kong to spend the day, drinking, eating and meeting new people. The owner is such a nice guy. They do a really good steak aswell, with all the trimmings.

“Great place but probably not for families”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

Great and good value place to have a few drinks. Can get a bit too much especially on Sunday afternoons... But beer is good value and the pipes are clean so the beer actually tastes nice

“Straight out of London.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

After years of frequenting the Old China Hand a few door down, I've been spending more time at this place. The main reason - price and value for money. While OCH's prices have skyrocketed in the last few years, the Queen Vic has maintained a value for money approach. Yes it is a place where you may not want to bring your kids or pastor, but that's Wan Chai in general. If you want some place for a quiet drink or two, don't come here on the evenings or weekends as this house is a rockin!
