“It's a tram on a steep hill”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Long queues for not that interesting an experience. Buses also drive up and get you to the same viewing place without the lines (and for less money too).

If you do decide to go up and get a return ticket, remember the lines can be as long to come down as go up. Again there are buses from the basement of the mall that take you back down to Central.

“Long wait times”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

This tram takes you to the peak. Beware of the long wait times. The tram can accomodate only a few passengers, hence the long wait times. The ride is smooth and the view around is so romantic, but the tram would be jam-packed most of the time!

“Gravity defying”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Stopping half way along was quite an experience - would we keep going up or go backwards! After a slight shudder it kept going up the very steep slope. While short, it was definitely worth the trip. Just get there EARLY to avoid the long queues.

“Really steep!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

It's a short, but really steep ride. I had to do a double take when looking out the windows at times because on some stretches, it seemed like we were tilted 45 degrees.

This attraction is best visited early in the morning. I arrived there around 8 am when the lines were still short, and I was surprised by the length of the line already snaking around the block when I came down from the Peak around 11am. On the other hand though, the drawback to arriving too early is that most of the shops and Madam Tussaud's Wax Museum will still be closed when you arrive.
