“Clean, Convenient and Interesting!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

stayed here for 3 nights in February. 2 other friends and I stayed in their 9-bed mixed dorm. it was my first time staying in a hostel, and i initially had apprehensions about cleanliness, privacy and quiet. but this place was awesome!

the location is very convenient - very near Causeway Bay MTR, Times Square, Soho and the like. there are lots of great food joints around. and for my friend who's a bit picky about food, there's a nearby mcdonald's.

the hotel in itself was very nice. it's located in the 2nd floor. you have to climb a set of stairs first to get to the elevator so having a big suitcase can get uncomfortable. but check in went smoothly - the front desk personnel were very helpful! they have a storage area where you can leave your luggage pre check in and post check out if you need it - just make sure it's locked since the storage is accessible to anybody.

i liked the decor of the room. it was very colorful and lively. and i'm happy to say that their beds are comfortable enough, and the bathrooms are cleaned everyday! although it took me a while to figure out how to work the shower heater. lol. the air conditioner didn't make any noise. and we were lucky enough to have roommates that don't snore loudly, or unhygienic. plus wifi was very fast.

make sure to check out the rooftop! bring beer and hang out! or you can you also hang out at the 4th floor terrace. either way, don't leave your sociable attitude in your room! will definitely go back to this hotel.

p.s. bring your pens/markers and check out the staircase :)

Room Tip: the 9-bed mixed dorms are large! get a room at the top floor - nearer the roof deck so you don't...

A very nice hostel. Nice double bed. Would definitely stay here again. Nice view of Hennessy Road from the fifth floor. Although we didn't stay in the main hostel bit, the room we were staying in was across the road in another building. Still nice though.

I came here for a 6 week internship and stayed at one of the single rooms. Its an awesome place because it is right next to causeway bay mtr station which is merely 4 stops away from central! Furthermore, as it is situated right in causeway bay, it is right in the heart of Hong Kongs shopping district and a stones throw away from Times Square and a ton of food joints. The rooms are definitely spacious and clean, and the people and staff in the hostel are very friendly! I definitely recommend this place to most budget travelers. In fact, from experience...this place may even be better than some of the hotels here.

I stayed in a 9-pax dormitory for five nights. The building's facade is relatively clean and new, compared to tall, dark, dingy buildings in Hong Kong

Initially, I was quite taken aback by the triple decker beds (welcome to space-starved Hong Kong) - first level on the floor, the second level has a window view, and the third level is almost towards the celling.

I was assigned to the bed on the first level (aka on the floor). The walls were dusty, and were only cleaned after 3 days of sleeping in the bunk. The floors (underneath the beds) were also dusty and had litter.

These aside, the room was quite tastefully decorated, and the room came with a attached bathroom (quite spacious, given Hong Kong's standards). But, I had to share it with 8 others. There are also personal lockers, which were kept secure by an access card.

The best thing about the hostel was the hostel mates in my room. Almost everyone was friendly, and we could chat late into the night. We even traveled to some attractions as a group. So that made up for the less than desired environment.

And the location is really superb - minutes from Causeway Bay MTR station, major malls and lots of food options, and at the doorstep of a mini bus terminal (buses go to stanley market).

However, there is no lift on the first floor, so you have to lug your luggage up four flight of stairs to level 2.

Go for this hostel, if you only want a place to crash and sleep, or are up to making friends. Cos there is almost no privacy sharing a room with 8 people. But on the flip side, (if you are lucky), you get to meet nice and friendly fellow backpackers (Tip: they are always hanging out on the rooftop garden)

Very clean dorms and ideally located in the main shopping district. Friendly staff and nothing much to complain about. The lockers are accessed with an electronic card so u don't need to bother abt ur own locks.

Its central, easy to find and preTty cheap for HK standards. The beds are pretty god for a hostel, and the bathroom facilities are great.
The staff is very kind, funny and beautiful.
If you want to see hong kong, but you're on a tight bugdet, and you want to meet people, then this is the place to go!
