“An agerage hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2012

The rooms size was small. There was a stffy smell in the room. The view from rooms was showing the roof of the old buildings. The staff was courteouse. The Wifi is not free, and if you buy a package you need to use in one go. The location is convenient from the Tsim shia tsui station, but the surrounding is very crowded. Lots of shopping and restaurants are surrounding this hotel.

Room Tip: Please opt for the the rooms facing the main road.

We booked the hotel via the tourist information, it was one of a few hotels that agreed to add a child bed. (most hotels expected you to share 3 people in one bed). We paid for a bigger room and the price was still good value. The rooms are smelly. The staff is very helpful and when we arrived at 2am and needed to see a doctor they helped us, and wrote the address in Chinese characters, and gave us good advise. The location is good for shopping and eating, but it is on the other side of the river. We didn't explore Hong Kong as we were just on transfer between flights. Ask for a high floor as the noise from the road is strong.

Room Tip: If you have a child- pay for a bigger room, as in Hong Kong rooms tend to be very small. The road is...

This was some kind of hotel experience. Friendly staff and good location for me, BUT the rooms (We had 2 rooms) were equally bad and so worn out that I cannot describe with words. I will not go into details, but only book this hotel, if you have no other choice. Note the beds are rock hard. However it was a reminder to myself always to read reviews of hotels before booking (which I did not do in this case) AND looking at the positive side of this hotel experience, it will make me appreciate good hotels more :-)

Room Tip: If you really need to stay here, ask for updated pictures of the room you will be getting.

stayed in ramada kowloon during our visit to hongkong last week - was appalled at the dust in teh room. the room had wall to wall dark carpeting and the edges were actually totally white and looked like it hadnt been vacuumed in a long time. There were even cobwebs. To top it off when we complained, we were told it was full up and they couldnt do anything. After creating a hue and cry we finally managed a room change though the room had a weird smell which they claimed was the room freshener but wasnt there in our friend's room (who was also staying in the same hotel). breakfast was decent. rooms very small. walking distance to a lot of shops adn eating joints. will definately not recommend a ramada hotel experience again though.

Room Tip: ask to see a couple of rooms before checking in..some rooms are a little better designed and better...

Inexpensive hotel - small rooms, but glad of the air conditioning as the weather was very humid when we visited Hong Kong. Approximately 15 minute walk to Star Ferry. Free wi-fi. Good breakfast. Staff friendly. If we revisit Hong Kong would not stay in Kowloon - would stay on the main island.

This hotel has some redeeming features....the staff, who are very helpful. This is an inexpensive hotel with very limited facillities. The rooms are small, and if at the front of the hotel, very noisy. There is no wifi available in rooms, only in the lobby which is frequently crowded. In general the hotel is in a poor state of repair and if in the UK would probably be graded two star.
There is no bar, simply a Cafe serving breakfast and snacks up to 21.00 in the evening.

Room Tip: The rooms at the front are above a 7 lane highway so are noisy, but they are larger than the rooms a...

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nites (3 to 5 sept) . The lobby is so shabby looking. Rooms had a musty smell. The twin bed in the room is not the standard twin bed. Was so small than the usual. The carpets felt dirty and at nite during bed time my feet kept on itching. The hair dryer in the bathroom was so useless because the power was so so minimal. The hotel desperately needs a revamp and a major face lift to keep up with the other hotels in hk
